HistoryThe things I can't changeThough she doesn't remember much at all Izumi's life was an interesting one.
Her family was a prestigious "mob" family. They dabbled in everything. From whore houses to raids, to even large farming communities. Izumi was part of the high class courtesans. Though because she was actually apart of the family, she never did anything, and no one complained. She performed for and attracted customers.
She would seduce men and they would have bidding wars on who would spend the night with her. The winner would be taken to a room where a look-a-like was waiting, but the men were none the wiser.
Meanwhile, Izumi would return to her own rooms and rant to her own maids about the pointlessness of her duties. One night a particular customer who was usually part of the bidding war, did not bid, but followed her off stage, promising her the world if she would only run away with him. Izumi was horrified but intrigued, her curious personality wanted to accept his offer and travel the known world.
She told him that she would have to think about what he had proposed, but that she would like to see him again.
Every other night the two would meet backstage in a secluded area, where they would talk for hours, Izumi's suitor telling her the wonders of the outside world.
However, after a few months of this, her Uncle who ran the shows became suspicious when Izumi seemed less pessimistic and happier, more genuinely friendly. He began to follow her around, soon discovering her secret romance with her suitor.
The Uncle confronted Izumi, telling her to get rid of this man, angrily accusing her of throwing her life away. Izumi, terrified the next night she did not say anything to her suitor but grabbed his hand, and began to flee the property.
Unfortunately her Uncle was smarter then that killing the lovers behind a grouping of trees, where he knew they would run, seeing how it was the only way to get out of the property without being seen. The two died professing their love to each other, their bodies were then put into bags and thrown into a nearby river.
