Welcome to a world of evolution and growth. Humanity has become more and more powerful as it has evolved. Mutants everywhere are beginning to outnumber the normal population, and not all of the growth is without pain. Thankfully in these chaotic times, there are groups of heroes to combat the growing number of mutants that roam the earth unchecked or turn against it. Welcome to the world of X-men!

U.S. New york: Salem center
The academy for gifted youngsters has been destroyed and rebuilt alot since its latest inheritant Charles Xavier made it into a private school for mutants. It is also the main base of opperations for the X-men. Charles has established many public schools and learning/acceptance musiums through out North America but he maintains his economical power from his quite school.
U.S. California: San Francisco
Xaviers second biggest school for mutant children in America. The opperation is purely for mutant education but the X-Men still frequent this place and talk to the students. A large grounds makes up for a lack of sophisticated technology like that of Xaviers mansion.
U.S. Alaska: Ancorage
Scott summers family has been well funded by Charles Xavier over the years. the airstrip now is one of the most advanced in the world and is a source of reinforcement and sanctuary for the X-men and allies in the north.
U.S. Hawaii: Providence isle
The Wreckage of Cables time station has been remade by Forge into a synthetic island. The advanced base is a western outpost for the X-men. Forge lives here now and uses the advanced technology and his powers to conduct experiments for the bettermant of human and mutant kind.
Ireland: Mayo
Banshee has an ancestral castle in the moors that he has managed to keep nicely maintained despite its infrequent use. The X-men use it as an eastern outpost and trade center with Europe as well as a meeting place with the british heroes of Excalibur
Indonesia Madripoor isle:
Logan has a well funded bar near singapore. The rough community is a perfect fit for him and is a center for gathering underground resources and intelligance. Logan spends too much time to run it himself but he often visits and checks in with his crowd their.
Australia Darwin: Hidden fortress
In an effort to blanket the globe over for more efficient protection, the X-men have established a fortress west of Darwin where they can safely opperate from. A group of mutants occupies this facility known as X2 the second official team of X-men that have authority in the eastern hemisphere.
BROTHERHOOD
Antartica: Volcanic fortress
Magneto long ago established an underground complex that was shielded udner and fueled by a volcano. The fortress bordered the Savagelands and was once seemingly lost when it flooded with lava. Magneto used his growing number of mutant villains to empty and restore the complex. It now is well maintained by robots and is a backup location should Magneto need refuge.
Bermuda triangle: Avalon
A risen city known as Avalon lies somewhere in the bermuda triangle. Magneto opperates from it when in the west and moves it constantly with his near limitless powers. The city is believed to be of Atlantean decent because it already had aadvanced alien like technology when he discovered it.
Germany Beravia: Castle Wagner
Mystique has a history in this ancient cliffside castle. Now that the Brotherhood is in need of more numerous bases, she has shown her boundless loyalty to Magneto by offering her ancestral home to him as a location from which they could opperate from should they ever be in Europe.
Earths orbit: Asteroid M
Magneto once converted a metal asteroid into an orbiting citidal known as Asteroid M. The mutant lost this facilty twice but with boundless determination, gathered up the remains and brought them back together in space. This time it is designed as an observation post for him to safely spy on nearly any activity on earth.
Brazil Rio de janerio: Hidden cove
Magneto has discovered through his contacts, a massive cove under the rivers and waters of Brazil. Its honeycomb of caverns and tunnels was perfect for making a cheap base in which he stores stolen resources and people. The X-men know of it through talking with him but have yet to find this treasure trove.
Russia: Mountain ledge
The main base of Magneto's Brotherhood lies far from the X-men in the wild and unstable northeast. A vast castle has been reconstructed into a semi futuristic fortress where Magneto spends most of his time. Though the mutant underground speaks greatly of it, details of its location remain a blur to even the underground as Magneto has carefuly cloaked his shadowy domain even from satalites with electro magnet fields.
HEROES
Canada Otawwa: Department H
The Canadian government has become friendlier then ever with the U.S. and Charles Xavier. this boost in funds has turned it into a great economic power that has also spawned a great mutant power. The Alpha flight programs third recreation has gathered the best of the far northern mutants into a small fighting army.
Canada: Betta flight
A facility near to the X-mens home base, Betta flight is the training center for the newest and youngest of Alpha flights program. Once they pass their courses, the trainees are moved from the safe proximity of the X-men to the more reclusive Department H to go on to full members.
Britain Muir island: Excalibur
Europes finest heroes are found at Exalibur. The british keep safe the Mutant defenders of the midwest in Muir island where they watch over all that lies in there vast eyesight. Captain Britain has heade this noble mutant force for years, almost as long as Xavier has had the X-men.
China Hong kong: Oriental Alliance
In the far east lies the Oriental Alliance. A secret elite group of the most powerful beings in the east have funded the Alliance to try and tame the struggling powers of the lands. The mutants are used in secret opperations to tilt the balance of powers of various countries and fight mutant terrorism.
Tokyo Japan: Asian underground
Helping the Oriental Alliance is the Asian underground. A gathering of mutants in the east who maintain a second base for the Alliance and have formed lesser groups of their own heroes. this group is responsible for most of the mutant trade and communication with the west.
Africa: near Mt. Kilamanjaro
Storm was known as Ororo Munroe here. Now she is a star and hero to her people in Kenya and indeed Africa all over. Asdie from the friendly tribes to her, many small military groups are proud to fight alongside Storm anytime she turns up there.
VILLAINS
France Paris: Hellfire complex
The most powerful nongovernment sect is the Hellfire club. Built up in power and fortune over the years, the Hellfire club has steadily grown stronger and darker by the bloodlines that fuel it. The richest, and most beautiful, and most decadent elite of the world join in an ancient mansion. They play games of power all over the eath and theire origins lay here.
U.S. Newyork: Hellfire mansion
With ease, the Politcal ties of the Hellfire club allowed them to purchase a foothold in the west by buying this mansion in Newyork. They can freely come and go without threat of interferance by the X-men who know if they move against them here, they could easily use the Justice system to turn the X-men and their cause upside down.
Deutschland: Hellfire fortress
In the depths of Europe lies a massive fortress. Rather a military town, the Hellfire club has built this place from which they can launch a small war from and more often then not, they do just that. The X-men have constantly decimated this place but cannot seemingly stop it from being remade.
U.S. New Orleans: Mutant Bandit league
After the Katrina Disaster, New Orleans had to be remade and so did the thieves guild Gambit originated from. However more sinister and mutant hands claimed this territory first and quickly usurped the thieves, killing or absorbing all they had. Now a much more powerful Leage of human and mutant criminals thrives here. Singapore would be proud and intimdated by this place.
Japan Osaka: Sentinal workshop
Bastion uses his connections as a'human' corperate to fund his own private sentinal shop. Much bigger then most cities underground, this 'shop' has enough technology and sentinals to take on the X-men or any other mutant nemesis on earth.
NEUTRALS
Genosha: Genosha island
After the Sentinals destruction of it, Charles Xavier used the brunt of his growing economic power to remake Genosha. The X-men ironicly are about as welcome as Magneto and his brotherhood here. The Genoshian mutants are refuges from all parts of the easter hemisphere and want nothing to do with either side of the mutant war.
U.S. Newyork: Morlock tunnels
Under Newyork, the remnants of the Old human prejudices thrive. those who are just to malformed or dangerous come into the Morlock lairs to hide from the scorning humans and warring mutant nations.
Antartica: Savage lands
Ka-zar, alongside his wife and teenage son, protects the Savaglands from outside assailents and inside corruptions. The wild lands are little known except to the X-men, Brotherhood, and certain Governing powers.
Polska Poland: Monks of Mutatea
The Monks of Mutatea are all mutants. They are a much simppler form of what Charles Xavier started with the X-men. A sanctuary where mutants can freely come to gain education and training in their powers. They however, do not side with technology or warfare and so are mainly a trading people.
Egypt Cairo: Mideastern mutant assembly
In responce to the Desert swords, the governments of Egypt and Israel have founded a small assembly of puasi heroes known only as the M.M.A. This band of mutants are counter terrorism specialized and repel any unwanted 'help' from the Desert swords and help the U.N. fight Terrorists when they have free time.
Arabia Akkaba: Desert swords
A small and instable organization has spawned into a formidable froce of mutant warriors in the middle east. Unlike Excalibur, they do not fight for justice and freedom but rather their own goals and beliefs. Because they often do not follow civilized laws or human laws, the Desert swords group has been often as rejected as the Brotherhood.
OTHER
U.S. Las vegas: mutante lounge
A 'special' lounge in Lasvegas is actualy a free mutant hotel in which mutants can gather and freely relax and enjoy a normal life. Though a bit on the pricey side, mutants all over the free world go to this place to enjoy a 'human' vacation. The X-men and Xavier academy students always get at least one trip a year to this resort.
Unopenable ruins
A strange ruins south of the civilized parts of egypt has been found. It has markings that seem strangely unreadable by non mutants scientists have found. Mutant scientists are gathering slowly from around the world to find out why this is.
Project X
The remains of Project X lay here. it is often rumored among high palced mouths and minds that one day it may not be just ruins... afterall several powerful beings were spawned of the otherwise disasterous project.
