The Staff of Knowledge
The staff of knowledge-An ancient weapon held in control by an ancient society of vampires-Even older than the staff itself.There is a reason for this, however. The society in truth created this staff, and they guard it closely, feeding it power from their travels out into the rest of the world, to feed, to thrive, and to survive...A person from the society using the staff would normally only use it for certain missions, assassinations, destruction of entire towns...The 'light' work of the society. It was said the merest touch from the staff would give the person who touched it all the power of it, but the downside is if it was destroyed, the person to last touch it would be killed as well. The society had felt this defeat several times, but they always seemed to survive throughout the years, the staff's power only diminishing slightly with the loss of a few members. Now, however, the staff's power is said to be stronger than anything else and just might result in the destruction of the world. The staff may be guarded heavily, but infiltration is possible...Depending upon the alignment of the person going after the staff, their paths will be differant...The society, however, is hidden extremely well. People along the way may be willing to help, perhaps for a fee or a certain item along the way...All will be shown, and it is wise for people to join together...
