[-Route 5 is located to the south of Cerulean City. This route leads to Route 6 via the underground pathway, located in a building at the end of the route. There is also a huge building at the end of the route that leads into Saffron City. It is unavailable, however, until after you reach Celadon City. Also on this route is the Pokemon Daycare. And in his backyard is tall grass where you can find Pokemon. There are no trainers on this route-]

-Trade a Nidoran(F) for a little girl's Nidoran(M) in the building before descending the stairs to the underground pathway
-After visiting Celadon City, enter Saffron via the large building

Maya snuck past the construction workers and approached a building there. She peeked in the window, but the lights were off, so she hopped over a fence surrounding an area in the back yard. She sat in the grass for a while, looking into the pond. "I like this place . . . I wonder what they use this area for . . ." she wondered to herself.
She sat there for a little while, just looking around and reveling in her freedom, and little to her knowledge Wynter was doing something similar at the same moment. She sighed as she figured it was about time for her to head back. She put her hands behind her to brace herself as she stood up and she heard a low "Meeeooooowwww!" of pain. She looked behind her, moving her hand quickly realizing that she'd put her hand on a Meowth's tail. She thought it was so cute and sent out her Muddle to weaken it a bit.
The Meowth swiped the Marshtomp's face and it responded by blindly shooting mud all of the place with Mud Shot. After the Meowth and a large portion of the house they were behind were both covered thoroughly in mud, Maya threw a pokéball attempting catching the wild Meowth.
The pokéball hit the opponent, and it began to shake . . . once . . . twice . . . thrice . . . and it BINGed letting her know that she'd added a new addition to her group. She hugged the pokéball and then decided that she'd spent enough time here. She walked away, with a feeling that she'd forgotten something . . .

Maya, for the second time tonight, snuck past the construction workers around Route 5 and made her way past the house. She then saw the lights flick on and heard the door open. She began to approach when she heard a lady talking somewhat angrily. Maya then gasped as she saw what the lady was angry about. Maya'd forgotten all about the mud that she'd splattered all over the lady's house in the battle. She ran quickly over to the woman to apologize.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Maya blurted out, dropping her head, quite embarrassed that she'd make such a mistake. She raised her eyes to meet the woman's, who seemed confused. "It was me that got your house all dirt. My Marshtomp did it by accident in a battle with a Meowth I found. I'll clean it up right away!" she said as she once again sent her Marshtomp out. "Marshtomp! Use Water Gun on the mess we made!" she exclaimed. A jet of water forceful enough to wash the house, but not damage it, shot out and sprayed the house clean from one end to the other.
"W . . . well thank you, young lady. I really appreciate it. Both the honesty and the fact that you fixed a mistake you made. Don't meet to many people like you anymore." responded the elderly lady.
Maya yawned, but quickly covered her mouth to hide it. She was pretty determined to get to the next city before morning.
The old woman laughed. "Why don't you come in and stay the night. As a thanks for coming clean . . . and cleaning!" she added cheesily with a chuckle.
"No . . . I couldn't . . . I mean . . . I really want to get to the next town soon . . . and my brother . . . " she said, half-forming her thoughts.
"Oh, it's no problem. And the next town's pretty far away, it'd take you all of tonight and some of tomorrow. You'd need to get rest for such a long journey." said the lady, wondering where the young girl's brother way.
"Um . . . " then responded Maya, now considering all options.
"I just set out cookies and mil-- " then chimed the elderly lady enticingly, but was soon cut off by Maya.
"I'll stay!" she exclaimed as her belly rumbled at the mere mention of cookies. . . .
"Fank you fur yettin me say a nigh." mumbled Maya with a mouthful of cookies.
"Oh, it's no problem. Just rest up, and I'll have breakfast prepared for you tomorrow morning before you set out." she then added.
Maya finished the last cookie and yawned as the woman directed her to the room she'd be sleeping in for the night. Maya once again thanked the elderly lady and rolled over, pulling the blankets up and falling asleep.

Maya yawned as she sat up in bed, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. She mumbled to herself, not wanting to get out of bed. She was actually quite glad she stayed the night, there was no way she would've made it there by morning, she would've passed out. Just as Maya was about to lay back down in bed, the smell of bacon drew her out of the sheets. She fixed the bed, before changing, and leaving the room to fetch her some breakfast.
She reached the kitchen just as her host was finishing breakfast. Maya ate and conversed with the lady and her husband while at the dinner table, then soon said their goodbyes as she stood up from the table. She took her dishes to the sink and rinsed them off and then pushed her table seat under. With another awkward goodbye, she was off.
She looked around and found an underground passage that led to Route 6. She entered there and walked for sometime until she reached her destination.

As Yue and Wynter reached Route 5, they agreed to go their separate ways as Wynter wanted to check out a small house nearby and Yue merely wanted to get some training done. He sent out his remaining Pokemon, his Metang, Mankey, and Alakazam. "Come on out, guys. Let's stir up some trouble first. Metang. Alakazam. Use Confusion on the grass to draw any Pokemon hiding inside to us." he called to them. They did so in one area and a flock of probably 30 Pidgey flew out. "Okay. Metang, take the forefront and take down a majority with Confusion, hold 'em there, you have the highest defense." All of them seemed to be swooping down, trying to land Tackle attacks, which luckily weren't too effective against Metang, but every so often one would land a hit on either Alakazam or Mankey as well. "Mankey, you've got the advantage here. Use Rock Tomb for some super effective damage. And Alakazam, you restrain their movement as well, help Metagross out by holding the Pidgey in place with Confusion." he ordered, and after suffering a bit of damage from the Pidgey, they eventually took them down. It was a good day of training, though, and the Pidgey didn't seemed too bothered by it after the fact, luckily, or Yue would've felt more bad about it. "Good job, guys. Now let's go find Wynter. I'll heal you up back in Cerulean before we head anywhere else." he said to his team.
Upon reaching Wynter, he found that she'd realized that the house was a daycare, which explained the Pokemon in the backyard. And, figuring it was a nice place to have her Duke and Duchess stay, she'd used the PC inside to withdraw them both and give them to the kind lady who ran the daycare. Yue, figuring this to be a good idea, congratulated her on her decision and brought up that he had to go back to Cerulean to heal up before continuing on to Vermillion City.Quote:   Changes:
