I will admit I forgot I was in this guild untill about 4 days ago so I'm pretty guilty for not posting in a while. xd Anyway, hi and has anyone read the light novels that are out for SP! I just finished the first and I can't believe how different it is then the anime.

I haven't read the manga yet but I heard the plot was very similar to the light novel. Oh and I love your signature Darkfire Dragonmaster

Yeah I heard that too. The shoujo ai and yuri guild was in quite an uproar about it and now the light novel might be canceled. I blame yaoi because I can. xd

I really hope it's just a rumor...I want to see the manga's take on the storyline. Lol, I don't like yaoi as much yuri and shoujo-ai. mrgreen

Me two. It would really stink if they just cut it off. And its not so much that I hate yaoi its just yaoi fan-girls who diss yuri without even picking up a manga or watching an anime annoy the living crap out of me. How can you hate/ think something is disgusting if you've never seen it? <-- Sorry, thats my rant of today. xD

Yeah, I want to know what happens now that Shizuma and Nagisa have already kissed, as well as whether or not they win the Etoile Battle. I'm just wondering how that would work out since Shizuma would be graduating a few months afterward; unless the school year is arranged differently in the manga. Though given Chikaru's more devious personality in the manga, it wouldn't surprise me if she's plotting a power play for Lulim to snatch up the position while Miator and Spica are at each others throats. twisted
Yep, I don't like that kind of thing either--it makes no sense to say you don't like something when you've never given it a chance. 3nodding

Yeah the years have to be different other wise she'd end up being etolie with Nagisa for what 2-4 months? Though I'm pretty sure Amane and Hikari will end up winning like in the anime. Also., I would not be suprised at all if Chikaru just totally ruins both Spica and Miator. xD Shes so amazing! <3

Exactly. 3nodding In the anime, the Etoile selection process seems to take place in winter/spring. Though it's hard to tell since in the last episode we see snow on the ground and then grassy fields later on in the final scenes (Possible plot hole? xd ). And it was mentioned that sixth year students graduate in March, so I'd guess that in the manga the Etoile Battle takes place more toward the beginning of the school year.
That's a good point you make about Amane and Hikari, too. Although the manga does have plenty of differences, they probably wouldn't deviate too far from the anime. And I agree--somehow having Chikaru botch things up for both Miator and Spica would be hilarious. mrgreen

Chikaru is such an intresting character. One of my favorite parts of the light novel is when Kagome asks why Chikaru didn't enter the Etolie election with Amane and her answer is something like: "I would hate to ruin the lovely battle between Spica and Miator and on top of that we have other things planned." Chikaru is so devious and motherly at the same time but somehow it makes complete sense for her character.
