I think they should make a Metroid novel series. They made one for Halo, and WarHammer, and Diablo, etc.
Why does no one respect Ms. Samus Aran? She was out there rockin' the suite before any of those mofo's!!!!!

By the way....anyone know when the 3rd DOOM III novel is coming out?

The Metroid-verse is a little sparse when it comes to other characters, particularly ones that talk (I'm looking at you, Samus stare ) or that are memorable. Unless Nintendo starts doing alot more story with the Metroid games, it doesn't seem like this would work.

well..i gotta agree with Driadon

it is a very sparse setting. But there also hasnt been as much for recent metroid games...the only one i can think of on the somewhat newer systems is the one that was on gamecube.

I really liked the Metroid Prime series, but I like Metroid in the first place. I guess I just think if they made a short novel on Super Metroid III, it would be good. They could make it just as inaccurate as they did with the original DOOM!
I mean...they were demons, not aliens.
If they twist the story in Metroid a bit, it'd be readable.

The most recent one was on the Wii. ironically they just announced the other day that there was yet another one in the series, also on Wii, that is being made by Team Ninja (the guys who do Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive) and it will have *GASP* an actual coherent storyline full of *ANOTHER GASP* dialogue. Could mean that your desire could be in the works as we speak.
