Okay guys, you've seen Chigusa'a pervy comments, you've read the responses to the fanart sent in, and you've seen the ever-growing hug o between all the guys.
Now, the question is: how BL is SD?
I've seen some non-official sites definately label it as such, and come on, all those pictures (even the practially bondage one on vol. 2 with Chigusa's bandages) in the manga with them strew all over each other...
But, it still drives me insane!! I hope so much that there isn't going to be any denial from the author that it's BL (see kyou kara maou), or that there isn't a gradual decrease in the cute relationships so that a mary-sue can sneak in...

So, in the end: How BL is SD (can be official or unofficial)?
And has anyone heard the author talk about it (wheather she intended or did not intend it...)

Yeah, I mean it's definately there... I just hope they don't deny it later...

I'm just worried because the author mentioned how she had originally wanted to put more girls in there and that it was a shojo manga... eek
It's okay to try to be satisfied with slashy fanfics, but... the real thing is nice too...
Hmmm...we shall see.
But Panda, you're definately right about relationships evoving. At least the 'mild fanservice' (lol, the warnings on the back cover rofl ) will be steadily advancing.

It is BL. If you've ever read Shiho Sugiura's other works, they're all shounen ai. Mangaupdates.com even confirms it. Though, Sugiura-sensei's works tend to be rather long. Koori no Mamono no Monogatari (another one of her fabulous BL works) ran for 24 volumes. So, the romance is slow developing... but it'll be there... Soon, hopefully! They're both so adorable together. Just curious... do all of you buy and read the licensed manga or read the scanlations done by Storm In Heaven?

Yess! Thank you so much for confirming it! It's just that some mangas torture the readers with so many hints it's practically cannon, then bring in some mary sue later to ruin it all!

It would be incredibly surprising if SD DIDN'T end up a BL manga.
I've read up to volume 8 through scans, and thus far, no real girl characters to speak of have shown up, save Narushige's little sister. And even then, she hasn't met Rakan's group at all.

There was Narushige's mom, and the Sanome seed. ^^;; Though I don't know if either will really become main characters. But the Sanome girl might...
Definitely a BL series. Rakan and Chigusa. Hugs and pervy comments. XD So cute.

I've only read the 1st two mangas but by the end of the second one I was completely hooked xDDD
It's still hard to tell whether or not it's BL or not though. I need to read more before I determine that one. Hopefully it is. I'd love to believe it is. It sure seems like it but we'll see. ^ ^
