Soooooo Im a young punk, one out of maybe 2 others in the god awful suburban white flight town that I live in. To make it worse I live under the bible belt where there is a church on every other street, and racist rednecks are every where. There are no indie stores anywhere and the closest thing to an alternative store is a hot topic*makes gagging sound* in a city about 25 miles away. No shows worth going to...ever. I don't really know where I'm going with this but, any ideas on how relieve boredom?

Go to the city!
If your on the east coast, head towards NYC or go to Detriot or Chicago.
If you are more towards the west coast go to southern California, like San Diego, LA.
If you are in the middle of the US go to Austin TX, Oklahoma city.
Anywhere.

I live in owasso oklahoma, and Its kinda hard to find an underground when you live in preppy a** suburb and have no way to get to the city.

To what end? It may suck where I live now but when you have a little sister that is almost dependent on you for emotional support you can't just up and leave. + the few friends that I have are very good ones. So I guess it could be worse, but it could be alot better to

Where exactly are you from? san antone is sweet as hell if you don't mind getting stabbed. also if you don't mind a bunch of psychobilly faggots trying to intimidate you in the ******** Creepy Coupe (srsly) houston's also got a pretty baller a** scene. the above issues still apply. and if you're going to base a decision on meeting Mitch Clem, just know that if you move anywhere in texas he WILL find you i've met him in San Antone, Austin, El Paso (lulz) and ******** Beaumont WHAT THE ******** WAS HE OR MYSELF DOING IN BEAUMONT TEXAS I DON'T EVEN

I have spanged for a Greyhound ticket about 10 times, and one was bought for me through spanging twice.

Maybe you're just not looking hard enough. I know a kid who insists there's no punks in his town, yet I know for a fact he lives in a very punk enriched town, he's just an idiot
Have you tried going outside? That's usually a good start. Or punxing it up at the mall?
@Jimy: Not Mitch Clem? Though the girl on the left looks like Amanda, who really isn't all that great looking from any photo I've seen of her. As opposed to her friend reading the comic. Yum.
