Gracie was putting on something different than she normally wore. She was infamous for her 8 ball gear. However, when she woke up this morning, she felt unwavering desire to wear something different. No black for one. She thought jean shorts and a tank top. She also pulled her ponytail up a little higher than normal. That was a little different but not nearly as different as her clothing update.
She stared at herself a moment longer in the mirror. She knew this peace and quiet wouldn't likely last too long. It seemed to be lasting longer and longer as some of the folk on their floor had been moving out of the building to other locales.
This made her wonder. She remembered a rumor she had heard about Ishanah having moved out to a remote location on wayward grounds. And for a guy.. who would have thought that...
So was that what more normal folk did? go get their own place? but.. Gracie had to admit.. she wasn't just like everyday normal folk sometimes.
Well... maybe her and Ari could still do a little thing they didn't often do. A date? Would he want to? Well, she told herself there was no other way to find out than to just go ask.

Ari was in the shower, he wasn't using anything new or special, but he was making sure to be clean. The boy liked to be clean. He hopped out of the shower and slipped a towel around his waist, making sure it was tied good and tight.
He slipped out of the bathroom in a haze of fog and he made his way down the hall. No one looked at him awkward as he passed blank faces. They all did this too, it sucked not having personal bathrooms.
The boy knocked, "Grace?"

She hurried to open the door a little to peek out. Seeing him in his towel, her face flushed deep pink. Then she hurriedly pulled him into the room. Noone ever really payed attention to people going to and from the bathroom, but since things had developed between them. She felt everyone was always aware of them. Or, maybe she was just more aware of them.
"Ari... I have an idea..."

Ari was pulled into the room so fast that his towel almost fell off exposing him. Thankfully, he had quick hands and clutched at the towel before it feel exposing.
His eyes wandered up to her face, idea?
"Wh-what sort of idea?" He blushed as he gathered his towel better. The cat boys tail flicked some what from nervousness. Grace was a plotter.
Today she was looking cute.

"I was thinking...." She smiled hard and blushed a little more. She tilted her face to the side to sort of hide it without avoiding eye contact. Naturally, it might look slightly awkward.
"usually we hang out here.. right? And.. so we usually end up entangled in really big group activities.. and not saying there's anything wrong with that. It's great to have so many people who are good friends and all.. but.. Sometimes it's hard to have time for just us..."
She started to rub her index finger tips together before looking up to meet his eyes. "We could go on a date... like... to a movie or something? or .. find a carnival? That way it can be just us.."

A date, thats what she wanted. That seemed like innocent good fun to the boy, and she was right, usually their plans ended up being sandwitched in with other peoples.
Yeah, they did have time alone together but it was usually in this room and short lived with some one crashing down on their privacy.
"Alright," Ari nodded, "We can go some where if you want." The big question was where too. To make sure the two actually got some one on one time together, it would have to be off the estates lot. Other wise either Trevor or Usagi would find out and some how show up. He didnt want Trevor coming along at all. Usagi was almost impossible to avoid, but they could go with out Trevor knowing. Even if his mom was one of the people who ran a building.

Gracie hopped a little and went to hug him in her happiness. Then she remembered he wasn't much clothed. Boy, he sure did smell nice when he was freshly clean, but that wasn't the time or place for it. Well, maybe the place... but she knew fully well people took it upon themselves to walk in their room whenever it pleased them.
It sometimes marveled her that she sometimes would feel embarrassed about being close with him despite all that they'd been through. She smiled then thinking that maybe you just kept on blushing with people you loved no matter how much you go through with them.

Ari let her hug on him, and hugged her back, "alright, let me get in to some pants at least." He whined, teasingly. Really, he liked to tease her here and there for the lawls.
"We could go see a play. I think a traveling acters guilds in town, " The boy grabbed a fresh pair of pants and slipped them on under his towel. No underwear.

It hadn't slipped her notice either; though she desperately pushed that thought out of her mind before it deterred her entirely. She didn't wanna become one of those girls who only ever thought about that. What would Ari think if she was like that? That's what really mattered after all.
"A play could be fun. I wonder how hard it is to get into one of those."

The cat boy was slipping on a t shirt. His dressing style had changed a little since Trevor had donated some of his wardrobe. Even though the clothes had origianly belonged to Trevor, Ari didnt pay much mind.
"Alright, lets go see about some tickets," He whistled as he hugged his arm around her waist.

She giggled lightly. It always made her giggle when he made gestures she felt were something that said "hey she's mine". Being pulled along by the waist like this was certainly one of them.
It was so amazing how maybe a year ago or so.. she was just trying to get him to kiss her. That was all she was trying to get him to do, but he was so embarrassed and guarded.
Who would have thought that her kissing Trevor would have got him to open up like that? Still, she wasn't taking it for granted. Not with the likes of Tiffany and Stan who were always happen to ruin anything that was going on as well.
Her tail slowly and gently wrapped around Ari's.

Ari , usually bashful, had gotten over his fear of affection in public. It took a bit of drama, but damn it , he was over it now.
Ari made sure to wrap his own tail around hers as well. Smiling a smile that could be seen by waywards that happened to pass them by. Ari was just glad that Usagi wasnt among the faces that they passed by. She was always in their business.
The plan was to borrow one of chobi's cars with out being seen by Usagi or Trevor. How hard could that be?

Gracie didn't really pay much mind to Ari's plan till they were at a car she recognized. Oh yes. She rode in this car to go to the mall one time with Chobi and Usagi.
"You can drive??? That's so neat.. I need to learn how to drive! oh but wait... is it ok for you to use her car?" Oh yeah. Chobi was a nice caretaker. Of course she didn't mind her car being used.
