Cybersecurity Tsar

Cybersecurity has for quite some time been on the top of my list of concerns, particularly as we move further into the 21st century cybersecurity will become more and more vital to overall security.

[Also just a minor point I have used the traditional spelling of Tsar/Czar, as the Russians spelled it as tsar.]

I agree, computer tsar is a pretty good idea. The last thing America needs is a hack of goverment computers. I disagree however with "Car tsars" and "Bank tsars" an though well ententioned its just a bit too much goverment encrochment into the private sector.

Okay I can agree with cybersecurity being taken care of BY Homeland Security. I don't like Czars because the only person they answer to is the President. They don't go through Senate or anywhere else. And Czars are historically not-so-wonderful people. Such as Vlad the Impaler. If you don't know who he is please go to the public library and read as many history books as you can. I'll give you a hint on it though. He was thought to be Dracula and was a sadistic, evil guy.

I find it funny that just a few years ago obama complained about bush expanding power of executive office and going around congress, thats kinda what a tsar does. I thin were at 40 somthing of them now

No doubt. And Butterfly_Kloe, I completely agree with you! Cybersecurity is an issue, but that should be taken care of by Homeland Security or a department that has already been established. Not these Czars' that circumvent the system.
