Description: Alu's appearance is very typical of the average Incultian. His eyes are deep green, the most common eye color among his people, and his skin holds the "Incultian tan" although it is actually a full shade lighter than most. The tattoos on his face mark him as a tribal Incultian, though his clothing is more reminiscent of those who live in Incul Autio. Alu is very fit physically, his musculature well defined, and he has the rugged face of a young man who has worked hard for everything. His ebon hair is well maintained and he keeps it styled as a simple mohawk. Usually he wears a very simple outfit with fabric designed to breath easily and allow mobility, but during certain special events he may be seen wearing his ceremonial garb. However, the one item that remains with him at all times is his hand made tech-staff.

Daily wear

Ceremonial outfit.

Biography: Life in the desert is hard. Life in the open expanse of Inculta is nigh impossible, yet Alu has survived that life and more. Born and raised in a nomadic tribe within Inculta, Alu Kahuek was trained from a young age as an Incukatwa, an Incultian tribal monk and a leader of their given nomadic tribe. Alu himself came from the Owankanta, one of the oldest tribes in Inculta, a tribe that survived for nearly eight hundred years.
The life of a nomad is by no means easy. Moving from turbine to turbine in search of drinkable water, surviving harsh summers and bitter cold winters, sandstorms, and a near civil war with Incul Autio and the other tribes, the nomads proved themselves time and again to be among the toughest humans in the world. Alu had this advantage and then some. When he was only three he showed an incredible skill with the basic machinery the nomads had available to them. Through this, the other Incukatwa saw potential in him and put him through the first rigor of a hard youth.
Separated from his family, Alu was taken to the sacred place of the Owankanta, a temple hidden beneath the sands. There his training began. Rigorous physical trials, exhausting intellectual tests, and hours of spiritual attunement were forced upon him, nearly taking away his will to live. Yet he pressed on, even though he saw no reason to do so. After twelve years of training, Alu was given the mark of the Incukatwa, a tech-staff hand made by the other monks specifically for him.
After completing his trials, Alu returned to his people as one of their leaders. For three years he helped guide them between the turbines and kept them safe from the other tribes. For three years he and the Incukatwa helped his people prosper, until Omega Corp. came.
Alu had heard of the whiteskins. He knew of their kingdoms to the north, their high technology, their lack of appreciation for all the things they had, and above all their greed for new things. When the soldiers of Omega Corp. stumbled across his tribe they ordered his people to surrender any and all tech they had and to fall into line. Alu recognized immediately what they wanted, and he was not about to let his people become slaves. He gave the order to fight and they did so with all their might. However, the primitive weapons of his people were no match for the heavy cannons and rifles of the Omega Corp. Within a single night, the Owankanta, who survived for eight hundred years, were all but eliminated.
After seeing the massacre that he forced his people through, Alu left the remnants of the Owankanta and entered self-imposed exile. Throughout the next year, he wandered the desert until he found Incul Autio. It was here that he learned of where the Omega Corp. was located, and where he learned of the man who fought against them, Belfar Le'Minz, and the Aura Academy. So it was that Alu left Inculta for Prometheus, hoping to join with the Aura Academy, punish the Omega Corp. and finally bring peace to himself.
Personality: Despite his rigorous upbringing and the stone-faced expression he almost always has, Alu has shown himself to be extremely kind. He has learned to develop a sense of humor in his time outside Owankanta, and believes that laughter and jokes are incredibly important. However, when the situation calls for it, Alu is more serious than some of the most seasoned soldiers.
Items of Interest: The one item that Alu carries with him at all times is his staff. Crafted by the Incukatwa as a symbol of his status, Alu has since customized it himself into a multi-purpose tool which includes a welding torch, a basic carving knife, wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, and a small energem to create an electrical charge that makes the staff entirely self sufficient. In combat it is his primary weapon of choice, and he always prefers to fight head on with an opponent.
Talents: Alu is very efficient in close range combat with his staff, fighting with brutal intensity. He believes firmly that a strong offense makes the best defense, and with his blend of strength and agility he does very well in proving this point. Alu also shows an incredible skill with basic machinery, though his ability to work with advanced technology is still rather limited.
Personal Interests: Alu is very spiritual, and believes that machines are endowed with a spirit all their own. He believes that people should be happy with what they have, and those who are ungrateful for what they've achieved, material and otherwise, should be sternly punished for their rudeness. Alu also enjoys physical fitness and can often be seen finding creative ways to keep his body healthy and fit.
