The five planets closest to the Hoth sun are lifeless, and a wide, chaotic asteroid belt occupies the only remaining orbit in the system. Hoth is barely hospitable, with its axial tilt, orbital position and atmospheric makeup causing the world to plunge into subzero temperatures. Hoth's daytime temperature high hovers around -32 degrees standard. At night, temperatures often fall as low as -60 degrees, with winds causing it to feel even colder.
Hoth's entire surface is covered by ice, but in various locations, volcanic fissures open up steam vents, depositing rocks and minerals in darker patches on the glacier plains. A few mountain chains penetrate the permanent ice shelves, and some of these are geologically active.
Along Hoth's equator is a deep fissure in the ice shelves, reaching hundreds of meters into what seems like another world. In this place, never exposed to Hoth's blue-white sun, is a cache of lumni-spice, a rare fungal growth valued by the galaxy's criminal element. Before the Alliance established a base in the northern hemisphere of Hoth, a pirate leader named Raskar attempted to seize the cache, only to be chased off by a creature known as a dragon-slug. Other rarely seen creatures in the Hoth wilderness include land scavengers known colloquially as Hoth hogs, and small rodents such as snowmice and ice scrabblers.
In Hoth's southern hemisphere, a massive ocean churns underneath the pressure of ice. The tidal pull of Hoth's three nameless moons cause fissures in the ice-layers, sending jets of ocean water into the freezing Hoth air. The intense cold freezes these jets into spires of ice, suspending primitive ocean algae in these tall columns. A species of annelids called ice worms carve their way through the ice to feed on the algae, leaving behind odd tiny holes.
There is a steady intergalactic Trading prescence in the northern hemisphere of this planet as Hoth is home to a substantial Research facility that many have rumoured to be of a more sinister nature than researching communications as it is publicly made out to be.

Ryi...the name given to a machine that could take down whole armies, planet surfaces and much more. Ryi was created from the system "MENTA". Menta was foun 15 years ago in the deeper parts of space drifting and lifeless...but now...the menta system lives again...
(Systems online...systems loading...load complete...gathering combat data...)
Before the reserachers noticed it...Ryi was gone, they couldnt explain how but all the heard over the communicatoins was...
Base Security: "AHH! NO!...it's broken through!...it's so close to the surface!"
Scientist: "NO! if it gets to the surface there no no way of catching it!....NO TO LATE!"
Seconds after the break...silence fell on the base as Ryi was no where to be see...

As Kyotens ship came in to land he could see something was wrong. As soon as he docked he ran straight to the main offices. Guards quickly passed him through every check point.
Kyoten stormed into the main lab startling the scientists.
"Whats going on here! "
"S..S..Sir it escaped Ryi has escaped. "
"You fools! do you know how much that thing was worth. What about the Menta program is that still intact "
"Yes sir the being is deep below ground in the Cryo freezing chambers."
"At least that is one thing. How is the cloning attempts"
"The science team has evaluated and discovered that her spirit does not seem to have transcended and remains linked to this world somewhere."
Kyoten thought to himself.
Hmm just as i thought
Kyoten turned to the scientist that had informed him of Ryi's escape and pulled out his blaster firing a shot straight between the mans eyes. The figure dropped to the ground
"Let something like this happen again and you'll all be like him"
The scientists hid in fear as Kyoten made his way back to the docks.

Ryi was evil im some way but that was only because of the way it had been treated...
"So what to do now...how about a power cut?"
Ryi decides to cut the power and place his face on the computer screens....
And relays a message...
"You know what its like being tested on? did you know you 'sujects' could feel every prod and every pulse...this is your time to see what it feels like..."
Ryi locked down the base and turned the heating up to 75%...
"Dont worry, i wont leave you to die..."

~It had been several days since uyo had seen a town, or more likly the runes of an old republic hanger. He marched across the solomn, frozen, icy face of one of the many mountains that covered hoth, with only his heavy grey robes between himself and the bitter cold of the air. The cold breezes rushed past him, causing the tails of the sash he wore over his eyes flail about like the wings of a dragon fly.
Small flakes of snow would cover his lips only to be licked away moments later. He had heard that the jedi may be joining, but then again this was only a rumor. He mumbled words to what seemed to be only himself. But he really conversed with the disembodied presence of an old droid behavior core. HK-47~
HK-47: Query: Master, dont you wish you had more then just one metal arm? it must be cold.
Uyo: Not now... im in no mood to be arguing with the likes of you.
HK-47: sarcastic remark: Unfortunate how you meatbag die so easily...
~He gracefully tread down the mountain side. If the rumors he had heard were true, then he may be needed by the thought to be destroyed council~

Ryi was having some fun tormenting the little base while menta's sensors picked up another droid on the planet surface...
(Surface scan...)
"What seems to be the problem menta?..."
(There is a small unidentified droid on the surface...would you like me to connect?)
"Yes menta...please..."
(Connecting...connection complete...)
"Ahh, hello there HK-47...are you being tormented by this small reserach post as well?"
"Menta, im not in the mood for making friends...shut down HK-47 please..."
(Cutting power to HK-47...)
At this moment Ryi was bitter at his core so Ryi tried to cut the power to HK-47...

~As Uyo walked he argues with his HK-47 Behavior core. even though HK had no controll over Uyo whatsoever, he would have very much liked him to silence himself once in a while. HK sparking to life in public had also been know to be a small problem, seeing as how Uyo was the only one who could hear him. Uyo would tread though the snow when all of a sudden his robotic HK-47 arm when limp and lifeless. He looked down at it in disboleif as he took off running toward where he knew was the best place to stow himself on a ship. The new jedi council was his next destination.~
Uyo: Well... thats unexpected. somone must be jamming it from afar. I dont have time now to worry about it though.

The Retribution exits hyper space just outside the Hoth system.
I need time to think and meditate, life's gone to hell since I found myself here, atleast this barren world should be devoid of sentient life. he sais to no one.
Revenant looks over the datapad again.
According to this, this ice balls been abandoned for decades, if not centuries... Heh, look at me, must be goin crazy again. The emptiness sais nothing back as he pilots his ship into the abandoned Rebel hangar.

Revenant exits his ship and attempts to seals the hangar entrance, the old machinary burns out as it does nothing.
Hmph, just like home but colder.
he puts a white camo cloak over the Retribution before going deeper into the base to find a place to meditate.

~Uyo made good time as he darted across the now level, plain of seemingly infinate glaicer and snow. he would stop abruptly, nearly running stright into what seemed like a crude attept at hiding a ship. uyo praised his luck and went aboared. now regaining controll over his arm he made his way into the cargo bay where we would wait in meditation. hopfully this would take him to the planet ofthe new jedi temple. he tightened his sash and sat down.~

In meditation he, Revenant stretches his mind out,feeling across the tundra in search of a center of peace when he senses the presence of another nearby. He struggles to his feet and draws his vibrosword.
If this damnable eye is good for anything, atleast it shows me what I should not know.
He hits his beckon call to activate his ship and walks towards it, sword rawn.
If i can not have peace here then I shall have it else where, if this fool is a threat he shall be dead. If he isn't I could always use a companion. It's been a long time hasn't it! He calls to the silence before laughing hysterically for a moment.
Nearby the Retribution jump starts. The small cargo bay's door locking and the ships auto defenses activate.

Revenant walks up to his ship, finding it uncovered.
hmm... seems i've been found *begins to laugh as if this were funny* Maaybe, just maybe I should check the ship, but I have a feeling whatever it, or he, or she is is not a threat. Probably some poor creature wandering in from the snow... But if it were a non-sentient how could it have known how to remove my cloak without damaging it... Well, as I was told, any day is as good to die as any other.
Revenant walks aboard and sits down at the command console.

As the consoles kick into life. Kyoten is shocked before seeing a vision of Ryi. Kyoten begins to laugh.
"So Ryi how does it feel to be free once more? I had plans but I can see you have plans of your own."
Kyoten laughs to himself. A small scientist by the name of Durren approaches
"Sir the sensors are not jammed like the rest. We have Pinpointed Ryi above the homebase. There are also two other lifeforms that have entered Hoth. What should we do are we under attack."
"They are of more concern than Ryi he is just a little annoyed. After all he has just woken up in a strange place around idiots like him over there" Kyoten quickly points to the lifelss corpse in the corner. " Ryi will understand in time "
"But he destroyed a portion of our lab."
"Just like a scared animal he destroyed all in his path to escape. As yet he has not attacked us or many of us would be dead such is his and the other of his races power."

~he stretched out, yawning softly. he had done an almost perfect job of hiding himself thus far. he bundled himself in the robes he wore and leaned up between piled of cargo and equipment~
Uyo: Well, i hope i can get there in time. all i need is to show up and all the jedi have already gone...
HK-47: statement: Hiding like a rat is not dignified now is it master.
Uyo: Please not now....
HK-47: Very well master
