Setting & Atmosphere

The City of Ur is a busy and happy city surrounded by tall stone walls and the surrounding desert. The city is the Capital of the Kingdom of Ur, Located in the south eastern part of the Niobi desert and west of the hillsides and forest of the farming lands and villages. The royal family resides in the city in the magnificent palace that was reconstructed just five years ago after the King was found dead in his library.
Some think that the King of Ur was assassinated, but no ones who would kill their beloved king. The king who would go into battle with his Soldiers proud and strong, the King who helped repair the city walls with his own hands instead of just giving out orders.

Two years ago the Queen has hired a new adviser who is always at the Queen's side. And ever since many things have changed within the Entire Kingdom of Ur.
The kingdom is preparing for war, recruiting for the army, pulling men from the farms and the villages and sending them out to be slaughtered by the demons of the Nation of Xer.
Members of the Royal Guard have become corrupt and sick with power as they hang around within the city walls. They never leave unless they are to escort a member of the Royal Court outside of the City.

Though many will ignore what is going on and the hardships that have confronted many of the people of Ur, there is defiantly corruption within the Kingdom of Ur.

Objective

Seven letters each being carried by a messenger were sent out by an unknown source. Though you are instructed not to open this letter until you have met in the city of Ur at the Northern Gate that has been sealed off, this is now a dead end and a common place for the children of the revolution.

These messengers were told to go to find specific people who are talented and skilled in their ways and who are of the Revolution.

Your journey begins as you enter though one of the three gates of Ur. The East, South and West. Go to the meeting place and wait for the others to arrive. Then read your letters to see why you have been gathered here. You are to do a sacred duty of The Revolution with these chosen companions.
