For know know that they are mainly herbivores who occasionally eat the meat of small animals and insects. Generally a peaceful race that can be fearsome killing machines when provoked.

They have no eyes. Instead their lobe is covered in sensor cells which activate and deactivate autonomously to detect light, color, and heat depending on the situation. Such cells are placed under a clear, cartilage like shell for protection.

A few Elders of the species may send out an almost telepathic frequency at will. Other of the species may occasionally emit a signal when in dire danger, but this is rare and often a whisper in comparison.

Marriage Contracts (Sex Life)

A contract happens when two individuals come together to produce offspring. A temporary marriage if you will. Most commonly, this happens between a male and female pair, and lasts from some sort of arrangement until the time the clutch of pods produced is on their way to adulthood. This may happen to same sex pairs, but is quite uncommon, and such occurrences are usually random flings. Males may breed at any time, however, and may take several contracts at once. Females are allowed only one contract, to guarantee the male's genes as the father.

- A marriage contract is a temp arrangement between two individuals
- Males may have contracts with multiple females (And occasionally males) at once, such like a harem.
- At the end of a contract, the pair may choose to renew it or more on.
