Everyone loves the canon ones, like Tamahome/Miaka, but what about the more obscure ones? I really like the couples Tasuki/Nuriko, Nuriko/Hotohori and Miaka/Tasuki (whoa, I've made Tasuki into a player xd whee ). Which ones do you support?

I think Miaka and Hotohori would be cute, but she's so....flouncy, if that makes sense, for him. He's so serious and noble and she's the complete opposite.

Twilight_fires I think Miaka and Hotohori would be cute, but she's so....flouncy, if that makes sense, for him. He's so serious and noble and she's the complete opposite. I actually kind of like that couple...I love the bit when Tamahome's gone evil and you think that Miaka might actually get together with Hotohori. xp whee Although I hate it that whenever they're together, all he goes on about is "I love you", "I've loved you ever since the moment we met", "you're my ideal woman, I always knew I'd love you" and "I will always protect you". It seriously got on my nerves! stressed

Nuriko/Hotohori, Tasuki/Chichiri and Suboshi/Yui.
My reasons:
Nuriko/Hotohori - I just think it would've been hilarious if Nuriko had actually been picked as Hotohori's wife, and they only discovered she was actually a he on the wedding night.......
Tasuki/Chichiri - They look cute together, it's the classic opposites attract and there does seem to be some chemistry going on there.
Suboshi/Yui - It's blatantly obvious that Suboshi fancies the hell out of Yui, and I was really disappointed when I heard that they didn't get together after all that.

I mean, I love the bit in volume 5 when Tamahome has rejected Yui, and she's really upset, and she sees Nakago and hugs him, crying into his chest. This might just be him being a manipulative b*****d, but I love the fact that he hugs her back and says "Don't worry yourself, mistress Yui. Aren't I right here for you?" heart whee I love the fact that he's always saying that he does stuff to make her happy...if only he were being honest.
