Forgotten Realms is full of beasts/critters and monsters (and monstrous people/things), which are your favorites? Your least favorites? Do you think any of them would taste good? So on and so forth....
Thoughts on beasties not shown in those books/that world?
Yeah! X3

I bet dragons taste really good and bad. I mean no monster or adventurer will choose to fight a dragon unless they absolutly have to and most of the time they don't eat the body they just leave it there, so I think the meat on the dragon's bones is really bad or is filled with poison because otherwise as a triumph meal afterwards they would feast on the Dragon..... Just my thoughts sweatdrop

I think it might also depend on the dragon, like I don't think a black dragon would taste at all very good, but a green or blue one might be fair... and I don't think anyone would bother to find out about red....

Well, with dragons, people do sometimes take the hide, and I think I've been in a party that took the meat too. I don't think there's any reason not to eat the meat...
As a DM, my favourite monster would have to be the Juggernaut. It's in Monster Manual 2, and it starts as a CR 11 construct with 18d10. Basically, the point of it is to put it in a long room which seems to be lacking exits (so the PCs concentrate on the fight, and sense impending doom), and have it slowly advance towards them, but the room has to just be wide enough for the Juggernaut, or they could just go around it.
It has some nasty at will spell-likes too - wall of force, hold monster, forcecage... Add some templates on and advance it's hit dice for a higher CR, and you've got a nice, very difficult encounter. Of course, adding traps into the room to increase the CR of the encounter works too, but you don't want the Juggernaut to be too weak, or the PCs will kill it too quickly.

I have been wondering about something for a long time, who would win in a fight shade or lich?
By the way that Juggernaught seems like a fun ride.

I'm not sure what you mean by a Shade, because I looked through a few books and couldn't find it. I thought you meant "Shadow", but those aren't very strong.
Also, Lich is a template, so the challenge a Lich would present to anything would be impacted by the base creature.
Here's the Lich template, for those who are curious: http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/monstersKtoL.html#lich
Now, what book would this Shade you speak of be in?

The Shade I was talking about is the one from shadow steed in the Dragonrealm Series, the base is up to you mainly because I am sure you could do a better job than I could. The only problem between the lich and shade is that the Shade cannot be "Killed" and gone forever. The lich can, it would "die" if its Phylactery is destroyed. So the battle would really consist of wills, determination and whether or not the Shade's hatred for the lich carries over.

I would totally be a dragon if I had the choice, seeing as they are basically the best of everything. Ever get tired of that massive body, you can just shape change in to something like an elf. super strong, really magical, smart as hell (some at least). you really can't go wrong.

Lol nice Minandreas but the only problem is that nearly every dragon is known about, therefore you would have to fight lots and lots and lots and lots of adventurers, most of which come well prepared for a fight against a dragon. (Except Wulfgar, he really did not have a good plan)

If so, I'm not actually familiar with the Dragonlance series. If Shade was a template, I'd probably give them both the same base. But otherwise, the Lich base would matter a lot because if you made a Dracolich, I'm sure the Dracolich would win. But a human Lich might not.

Either way. It would be fun.
