Recently, there's been a HUGE influx of scamming PM's out there.
And it's getting worse.
The SF and GCD have been major targets, but guilds are being targeted as well.
Here is a thread in the GCD that will explain more.
Please read the whole thread if you can.

...Okay, I'm posting this here as well.
"FEARBOT".
Supposely hacked a Dev a long time ago and posted an announcement which was quickly taken down.
Also supposely changed Lanzer's avatar and Profile.
But, now, according to some users...
FearBot is connecting them directly though their emails.
I have no idea if this is true or not, but please be careful guys.
I love ya'll too much to lose you.

Now you've got to watch out for hacking guilds as well. D:
I swear these weren't here last scamming season.
These are new, even I hadn't heard of them. Mckrongs  She showed me true kindness...I almost shitted my pants after getting these.   Almost got me again, when I was just about to go to Polls will eat me... Some a*****e joined me to a guild, then it turned into a hacking guild. Maybe I challenged Artificial too much ;x ...no other human can ever show.

lol it's a good thing i'm not part of those hacking guilds...or else there wouldn't be a gaia and everyone's computers would be mine for the taking...lol dun worry i'm not one of them...but i really don't think lanzer's being affected by this..his account and all the admins especially the admin lead are very safely guarded...i don't understand...using a bot wouldn't help changing a profile...it'll just aid in screwing something up especially the code but the the profile as a whole. hmm...i wonder if we should creat an anti-hacking guild... but seriously the odds of ome of us in this guild being hacked or scammed are 1 in a million unless youre as social as okage XD
other than that most of us are nobodies.. so you could take a slight breather of relaxation on the other hand i can provide a software or program to protect very active users like okage or sam in that manner (sorry guys i only know that they are pretty active in the forums)...it'll take a couple weeks but i can work on it after next friday since my finals will be over

There's a bot running around that has been surfing the forum pages.
It scoops up any username it finds and adds it to the mailing list.
But, it seems to have died down now.
No new threads have popped up as of today.
And I'm NOT a social butterfly! D<
