Description: Apart from his spiky hair and very bright blue eyes, Geoff very much meets the profile of an "anyman", often times mistaken for others. He is relatively thin, with no really clear definition to any part of his body. His clothes are simple and plain, usually wrinkled and dusty from his travels. Other than this, his only truly distinguishing features aren't really features of his body, but rather the tri-barreled scattergun he carries and the cigars he almost always smokes, usually stolen from Le'Minz himself.
Biography: With the violent and downright despicable tendencies that the Omega Corp. leans towards in their business, it is of no surprise that some once-loyal members would have turned against them. Geoff, like Belfiar, is one of these people. Formerly a pilot for Omega Corp., Geoff was responsible for many different tasks, from the delivery of products between cities the conglomerate had a stake in to the delivery of para-troopers and the coordinating of bombing runs against those opposing the conglomerate.
Like Belfiar, when Geoff discovered the truth behind the many different villages full of so-called insurgents and saboteurs he decided to leave Omega Corp. At first, he only planned to quit and spend his life exploring the world like he'd wanted to do for years. It went well enough at first. When he was 25 he left Omega Corp. and began to follow his dream, traveling to places like Inculta, Steinise, and even the elven lands in Abelia Forest. For years he traveled and learned of the world and its cultures, and he was happy until the Omega Corp. found him.
When he was approached by one of the Omega Corp. executives and ordered to return to Omega Corp. Geoff refused. However, it is not the style of Omega Corp. to let valued people get away easily, and the executive played a trump card. From the airship they arrived in, Omega Corp. soldiers emerged with Geoff's sister, Alice, in tow. With Alice as a hostage, they demanded that Geoff return and resume his duties as one of their star pilots.
Geoff accepted. With the threat of his sister's death, how could he not? However, as he was being escorted to the airship, the executive told him that he had not yet even begun to repay the debts he owed to Omega, and ordered his sister's immediate execution. Before he had time to act, Alice was shot through the head. It was in this moment that Geoff swore war on Omega, and in this moment that his latent Aura finally awoke. As Geoff fought the guards off of him, a blazing pillar of golden-white flame shot forth from the ground beside him. From the blinding fire, the summoned manifestation of his aura emerged, appearing as a massive, angelic knight towering over them all. With vicious precision, it exterminated the soldiers.
With the Omega Corp. airship now unmanned, Geoff commandeered it and returned to Prometheus, ready to fight a one man war against the Omega Corp. However, when he landed outside the city, he was greeted by a man he knew from his past: Belfiar Le'Minz, another former worker for Omega Corp. Word about Geoff's sister had reached Le'Minz, and the eccentric man offered Geoff a position as an instructor at his academy to aid in the fight against Omega Corp. Le'Minz knew Geoff was a pilot, and it was naturally the first teaching position he was offered, but Geoff refused. Instead, he told Le'Minz he wanted to help the students in another way. By broadening their knowledge of world cultures, he hopes that the students will be able to see the crimes committed by Omega Corp. through the eyes of the world, so that they won't have to experience the atrocities that Omega commits firsthand.
Personality: Despite his cultural learning and generally quiet disposition, Geoff is a smart-mouthed semi-neurotic eccentric. He enjoys a lot of the finer things in life, like good wine and cigars, and enjoys them even more when they aren't his. In fact, he has made a habit out of stealing Belfiar's cigars for himself, telling him each time that if he didn't buy the good kind he'd probably stop taking them. This self-serving attitude, combined with his smart mouth, makes him a bit less liked by the other staff. Add to this the fact that he is possibly the most strict teacher on the campus, with the one possible exception being Serenus, and he is often considered a nightmare for his students. All this aside, he has proven that he is very knowledgeable about world geography and culture and actually has a very high success rate for the students in his class.
Items of Interest: Geoff has only two items of any real interest. The first is his gun, a triple barreled scattergun that he "legally acquired" from Omega Corp. when he left them. It is his primary means of defense, but he rarely carries it with him on campus for lack of need. The other is his airship, also "legally acquired" from Omega Corp. The ship, originally a small, luxury transport for Omega Corp. executives, was thoroughly modified to suit the academy's needs should he ever open up a piloting course.
Talents: Geoff is a very skilled pilot and a decent enough in melee and ranged combat. He prefers to use his scattergun when forced into a fight, mainly because there's a better chance to hit if he shoots the wrong way as he puts it. Otherwise, the only true talent he has is his Aura. Though he doesn't have total control over it yet, through Belfiar's help, he has gotten better at controlling the summoned creature, which takes the form of an angellic warrior clad in white and blue armor and wielding a lance and a full-body kite shield. The summoned creature proves to be very tough in combat, but because Geoff lacks the stamina of a fighter, he has been unable to hold the summoning for more than five minutes.
Personal Interest: Above all else, Geoff loves to study world cultures and geography. However, despite the things that Omega made him do, he still holds a great love for flying in his heart as well. Other than this, he loves what he calls the finer things in life, including, but not limited to, Belfiar's cigars.
