introduction

Personality: Generally affectionate, Sihri-ni is much like a large feline. She can be quite contrary and is prone to rapid mood swings, but her default personality is affectionate. She dislikes confrontation, though she's willing to defend fiercely that which is most important to her. She enjoys being in the company of others. For her the need for companionship is very strong, but she prefers to choose her own companions and only for as long she wants company. When people outstay their welcome she will become irritable and snappish.
History: Laid sometime in the recent past, this dark golden egg with the striped markings may have been abandoned. There's no sign of any parental figure, though something was obviously caring for the egg, or else something would have preyed on it. After hatching, the lynx-point painter was relatively quick to learn most things, and I admit to spoiling her a bit. There was still no sign of her family, after all, and someone had to care for her to keep her from starving. I realize this is unprofessional, and that she will not learn to fend for herself, but at this stage in their lives painters don't exactly fend for themselves anyway, and being omnivorous, she won't lack for food when she is left to her own devices.

Personality: Sly's name is descriptive of his personality. He is a creature who delights in his own cleverness and in using it to trick others. He thinks very highly of himself and his intellect and tends to view all others as lesser beings, unworthy of his notice or respect. Much of the time he would be downright rude to these people, except he likes to affect a courtly air of superiority, and so he is always exactingly polite and dignified. The exception to this is when he is incensed at some outrage or slight, be it real or imagined. In those instances his sharp wit can become scathing and when pushed far enough he may even become violent. He can be broody and sulky, for he is a proud creature, full of his own intelligence and importance.
