I personally like Lestat, he is so conflicted, but he tries to an extent to be good. He tries to only kill those who have done bad things and often makes choices out of "love."

I don't like Marius, she tries to portray him as some kind of hero or protector... but what he did to Armand... he's just a child molester. He may have been a scholar and one of the oldest vampires, and even if he was less "evil" than some of the other vampires... he still took Armand in when he was only about 15, and had sexual contact with him up until Armand became a vampire at 17.
