OFFICAL LOLITA THREAD!!!!
With Lolita there are sooooo many styles it can be hard to define. Normally when someone thinks "lolita" the first thing to mind is a child-like or very cute, bubbly, and innocent it we are talking about sweet lolita. Speaking of which there are many styles of Lolitas. Such as :
heart Gothic Lolita- is a mixture of the Gothic and Lolita fashion
heart Sweet Lolita- is heavily influenced by Rococo styles as well as Victorian children's clothing
heart Classic Lolita- mature style of Lolita
heart Punk Lolita- simply punk mixed with Lolita
heart Wa Lolita- tradition clothing mixed in with Lolita
heart Qi Lolita- Chinese clothing and accessories mixed with Lolita
heart Dandy (Boystyle)- male version of Lolita fashion.
heart Hime Lolita- princess style of Lolita
heart Guro Lolita- appearance of a broken doll (blood, eye patches, etc)
heart Sailor Lolita- Lolita made to look like a Sailor
heart and some versions people make themselves
Lolita's style is mostly based from the Victorian and Rococo eras. Like I said before though, people come up with their own original ideas so it can be not only based from Victorian, it can always have a modern fucnky twist.
There are a lot of stlye and versions of Lolita. Mostly Lolita is known for their bell shape skirts, bows, lace, frills, petticoats, mary janes, and etc. I myself can not go into Lolita fashion deeply and give you the true meaning as myself I am not truly into Lolita Fashion. I can only give you the basic concepts. I however can give you examples, links, and so much more with people who know a whole bunch more then I. o(^-^)o
