Well, this is pretty self-explanatory. If you have any suggestions for the guild, to add or remove something, or to change a simple error, just post it here and it will be considered.
Possibilities: Health Issues subforum
It doesn't have to be just subforums. It can be contests or something, if you feel like it would contribute. Also, subforums cost 2500 gold from the guild account.

That is true what he says. But at the same time, not all health issues would effect all three of those areas. Anyway, I'm sorry I haven't posted much. I just can't get into guilds here of lately in general. heh. ^^;

Health Issues could fall into social, but that might make some not realize that it's even around in the guild. Sorry about the lack of posts, sometimes I just don't know where or what to post.

That's okay. biggrin I don't use my other guilds that often, anyway, but I want this guild to be exciting.
I could make a Health Issues forum if you want.

I just thought of something. Would you guys like a 'Satire' subforum? You know, like a Chatterbox but for funny stuff?

Hi Jerba, thanks for the notification.
You are mostly right in your message that this guild is small in comparrison to other guilds out there. This can easily cause boredom as discussions on the basis of what most of us look for in here require several different opinions. But this is not the problem with the guild. You are also right when you say few people post often, or even check up often in here, and once again I have to say that this is not the problem with this guild.
Before I get to my problem, let me explain to you how I use Gaia. I long ago aquired the items I wanted in Gaia, the gold side of the site now means nothing to me. This limits how much I will post and gives me less incentive to post, but it also makes me only want to post if it's something I feel strongly about or desire to discuss. I regularly check in the ED, and it's various sub forums (namely S&T and M&R) but I will rarely post. Now I don't think I'm alone here, I presume that there are many people that like to browse discussions such as myself. This then creates a problem with your guild.
As many people will be coming in predominantly to read and not to create content, it then falls onto other people to do that side of the work. It requires people to make topics of contriversial or debatable material and start a discussion so that the browsers, such as myself, may be drawn into a topic and will feel the need to reply and truely discuss. The question then though comes down to who to nominate for these responsibilities. -Guild members (ask for voulenteers) -Guild staff -Naive people from the ED ...Okay so the last one is a bit of a push, but honnestly we all sigh and facepalm when someone falls into the M&R screaming about the non-existance of God through their air tight logic that they just thought up on the toilet. But it gets us going! It's annoying sometimes yes, but it sure does make for fun content. Same in the S&T when people rave about global warming and other such topics. Perhaps a few itchy-trigger-fingered teenagers would liven the place up.
But one of the most important things here is that I can go into the EDmain, S&T or M&R and find a debate or a discussion that I might not find here. Also I might find something interesting that I again might not find here. So you need to give this place a little something of it's own. Give it a reason for people to want to come in. Invite new members, advertise, promote discussions and eventually the guild will run itself.
Just my two cents.
Jay

Hm, so you're saying we're fueled by dummies in the ED and that we're just choked up in here? I guess that's the problem with a discussion guild...
But how, then, should I go about making my guild unique? It's basically a guild about general discussion, so it gets boring. How could I possibly improve it? I'm stuck. confused
Oh, yeah, and I should get some crew members...

Yea definately, events would set this appart from the ED. Infact with some of the old timers you have in this guild, I'm sure finding funds for such events wouldn't be hard at all... Also this might help with advertising. But my point isn't that I want little annoying kids in here, just...perhaps a few more contriversial people. A few people that don't mind shouting out their opinions and starting up debates. I'm sure we could all find some and offer up names if we scan the forums.
