Story: After Colonel Mael Radec's execution, the I.S.A. found documents showing a secrect training facility hidden deep underground under Radec Academy. The reports tell of an elite squad of Helghast scouts known as the "Hidden Variable" or the "H.V." The leader of the H.V. was Mael Radec but in the event of his demise, his next in line was to be Tranzice. Tranzice test scores, combat effectiveness, reflexes, and even his battle tactics were on par with, or even greater than those of Radec's. Until now, the documents were believed to be just falsified documents. Reporting the H.V. as a rumor turned out to be a fatal mistake for the I.S.A.
