Hello there,
I know its been awhile since I posted, but we've been busy making more guild improvements. I was out on vacation last week when these latest updates got released, but here is an overview of what is new incase you missed the post in the registered guilds forum post:
MODERATOR PANEL + MEMBER LIST CHANGES:
Primary changes:
• Batch accept/decline for join requests - you don't have to manage each request one by one!
• HOT TOPIC for many of you razz ending join request notification in guild header - find out about a join request sooner
• HOT TOPIC for many of you: Memberlist sorting - by last post, join date, # of posts - now you can see who has been active
• New logs landing page - all your logs belong to us (ok, I'm getting giddy - all the logs are on the same page now rather than separate links)
Secondary changes:
• New UI/navigation for moderator and member panels
• New URL structure for admin section
• Pagination in join request list
• HOT TOPIC for many of you : Modified change owner flow - Previously, Vice Captains could overthrow a guild owner by simply changing the owner. This was put in place because Captains sometimes get banned or lose interest and stop coming around. We've put a check in place that will prevent vice captains from committing mutiny unless the owner is banned from Gaia, or he is inactive (defined as not logging on for more than 60 days).
GUILD JOIN REQUEST AUTO-ACCEPT:
Primary Change: new setting in the guilds settings that allow guild owners to bypass all join requests by "automatically" accepting users- reduces time to engagement for your new guild members!
I hope you enjoy these changes - the devs worked super hard (as usual) and we will continue to make a few more tweaks before we start giving the forums some much needed love....
