Possessing a Vampire's Name
There are a few perks with learning a Vampire's true name in this YnM RP universe.
Here are the rules / laws and perks...
A Vampire's name can only be given freely by one who knows it.
A Vampire's name can not be gotten from mind reading or magical means.
To hold a Vampire's name is to hold their entire being. They can not disobey an order physically, though they can disagree with it. They become a puppet. Even if they were starving to death, and were told not to feed, they would be unable to feed due to their master's command.
To hold a Vampire's name is NOT to hold their mind. They still retain their own thoughts and feelings, but their physical being is forced to do their master's wishes.
To hold a Vampire's name is to command their power as your own.
To hold a Vampire's name is to be as immortal as they. This comes in handy for a human master. However, if the master dies, the vampire does not die and vice versa.
The Vampire who's name has been learned, can NOT tell another of their servitude unless commanded by their master. To tell, would be an automatic death sentence for the vampire, unless ordered to tell by their master.
The Vampire who's name has been learned will, for all outward appearances, remain unchanged. They will be mentally aware of their servitude, but aside from actions that may seem odd due to orders from their master, they are hard to pin point as having lost their name.
