Me, too! They're so great, always a good laugh. And I love that they left a swamp there! Makes me giggle.

In general I love the books though I do have some issues with book 7. I'm not much a fan of the films though. Favorite character is actually Moody. He's reminds me of a crazier version of my dad.

✖♥✖♥ {Lift me up, take me higher} {You're love is my drug, and I'm an addict} I have the best icon for Book 7:

xd
I ended up crying through a good portion of the book to be honest. I was so mad, people just kept dying D< {Baby, I'm nothing without you} {So let's fly away together} ✖♥✖♥

I adore the books, but I really dislike the films. :/ They don't do the books justice, and the changes in plot just irritate me no end.

At this point I've stopped watching the movies. They just upset me. And actually, not all book to film adaptations are guilty of those problems. You usually lose some depth but that's both understandable and expected. I think the most faithful adaptation I've ever seen is Silence of the Lambs. I've also heard Coraline is quite good.

чøυ'яε ηøтħιηg §ρεcιαℓ, чøυ'яε α §кεℓεтøη кεчI've only ever seen the movie for Coraline, so I'm no judge of that. The only reason I don't get overly mad about the movies is because I've seen interviews with cast and JK Rowling herself about the movies and on set, and she has been on the sets and stuff. -shrug- It's not like when they tried to do Queen of the Damned and now Anne Rice won't let anyone try to turn her books to film anymore >.<

I know what you mean Castle. I watched movie five a while ago at someone's house. Now, you have to understand, I wasn't expecting much going in and I still came out disapointed. I was quite stunned to find out that a lot of people quite like that one. It left me feeling cheated and sour.

I used to read the books as a kid and loved them, but lost interest and didn't read the last two.
My friends are making me go to a midnight showing of the new movie (and making me dress up)

My friends are making me go to a midnight showing of the new movie (and making me dress up) i'm sorry. granted i'm still going to see the movie, because i'm a glutton for punishment, and i'm making my hubby go see it (cuz otherwise i can't), but i'm not fond of the idea of making other people (other than my hubby) go see it if they don't want to...and making them dress up? *shakes head*
