Edit: You know what, I'm sick of working on the lineart. Not going to change it anymore, so here's a wip of it being coloured so far.

If you have any suggestions for colouring please comment. 8D

-: The image is looking pretty good. Hmm, I would suggest darkening the hair tones but that's just me. :-

Thanks for the response. I have yet to add the dark lines and highlights through the hair. ^^

I am also changing her mouth to be closed again.

-: Oh, ok. I'm curious what you came up with. Does that make any sense? ^^' :-

What I originally came up with? Her mouth used to be just neutrally closed, but when I tried colouring it, it looked weird.

I changed it back, but I think the mouth looks funny. ):

I've only worked a little on it lately, but got stuck choosing the colours. I originally had red and gold, but I dunno. The tie has to be red, so I thought a red dress would complement it well. ;A;

Any suggestions for colours?

(btw, I still haven't done highlights yet. Just adding in base colours and the shading)

-: I know most of these are base colors and I don't know how you work but you try making the dress a bit more vivid. Also, for the shadows of the dress, you could add some purple to keep it from going black. You could use gold for those two things, flying in the wind. (I swear I'm not trying to be mean, I just don't know the names!)

The colors for the edge of the dress, I would suggest a dark turquoise or green-blue color. The green reminds me of Christmas. Oops.

There are these flowers in my grandmother's garden that are white with red violet (purpleish red) in the middle of the petals. I don't know what those are called. I'm sorry. If not that, maybe a orange or yellow for the flowers?

I'm so sorry but I never colored a sword or hardly seen one. :'c

Other than those things, I really like how you colored the wrinkles of the dress. :-
