Can you post a lesson/tutorial about tones in Cantonese? I know they're different from Mandarin but it seems like the current lessons don't have anything about them.

hmm well the tones in cantonese aren't really as prominent in cantonese, they're there but they aren't as stressed as in mandarin so they're harder to find, thats why i inserted the sounds so that you could hear the whole word 3nodding but if you find one, or if i ever find one i will definitly add it mrgreen

谢谢! I spoted more errors...Will put mine in Orange. I will also explain why, in case you didn't know. Normally, with the Chinese language with the pinyin in mind, when two sounds that are of the three, as you have noticed with ni3hao3, both of them have the third sound. When there is an occurance like that, the first word (in this case it's NI) will be automatically transformed into the second sound. So it will go like this: ni2hao3. However, where there is three of the same third sound, the same rules apply, but only the first word gets changed. The rest stays the same.I hope this clears up anything. If you already know this--just ignore the part in orange. Also, the word peng you--both have sounds. So it's peng2you3.

I was just wondering if we could possibly have songs to go with the lessons.
My Chinese teacher did this for numbers and it really helped.
And tongue twisters would be a great language/culture tool.
