Hikaru trudged through the muddy path, of what looked to be an old road. She had stumbled across a small village a while back, but it seemed after running into a few not-so-friendly villagers, she wasn't welcomed to stay there any longer. So now, here she was walking through the pouring rain of a thunderstorm, soaked to the bone. Her bright tresses whipped wildly in the wind, while some strands chose to plant themselves across her face as well.
She lifted her face slightly noticing something in the distance. It was a large house, no a mansion maybe? Without another thought she ran at full speed in that direction.

She splashed through the puddles that covered the, what used to be, lawn and stomped her way up the steps to the porch. Once under the covering, she removing the small hood covering her head. Now able to see clearly, she noted it was a very old and run down house. She peeked through one of the windows, but saw only darkness. It looked to be abandoned. "Well at least I won't have any crabby villagers to bug me." she smirked to herself.

"GAH!!! What the hell?!" Hikaru fell backwards a bit and drew her hand to her head. She looked around quickly and noticed a large raven starring at her. She glared at it a moment and was about to shoo it away, but she stopped herself. She sighed rubbing her head. "Well I guess I'm not the only one who needs a little shelter from the rain." she smiled at the raven and then turned her attention to the tag on its leg. "Michael..hmm..do you perhaps belong to someone?" she questioned the bird, although clearly not expecting an answer.

Hikaru jumped slightly at hearing the man's voice, causing her eyes to widen a bit. How did I not sense him? she thought to herself. She turned away from the bird and looked in the direction of the voice. She examined him for a moment, making mental notes on his appearance. He was a stern and harsh looking man, which slightly intimidated her, but she would never let it show. "I am Hikaru." she paused for a moment, not really knowing what to say. "Is this your house?" she asked in a curious tone.

Hikaru hesitated for a moment, but decided that pretty much anything would be better than standing out in the rain. "Um..ya thanks." she smiled half-heartily. As he turned to open the door, she briefly touched her side to make sure her weapons were in place if she needed them.

"eh drink?" she questioned still occupied by her surroundings. She looked around every inch of the room, making a few mental notes. Her thoughts were brought to a halt after hearing a squeaky noise. She looked down to notice her muddy boots were making the noises. Before realizing someone lived here she had planned to let her clothes dry over night, although now it might be a little strange having this man stare at her in her underwear. She couldn't help but giggle at her silly thoughts.

After realizing her strange answer to his question, she couldn't help but feel a tad embarrassed. "Oh sorry about that. I guess I am a bit tired from my travels." she rubbed the back of her head. "I would appreciate that, thankyou." she made a quick bow of thanks. "Although would you mind if I changed first? I don't want to track mud all through your house." she smiled.

As she headed up the steps, she couldn't been glare at the wall after hearing his last comment, but she quickly turned her head and gave a forced smile. "Of course not." she smiled. She reached the landing and looked around to see many doors lining the walls. "Hm...well I'm just changing for now so it shouldn't matter I guess." she murmured to herself. She approached one of the doors and walked into the room.
