It sounds a bit newspaper or tabloid-ish, but hey, I'm a god and I know a lot of stuff. Got a question that bugs ya? Ask away. Got a problem? Ask for help. Questing an item? I'll do my best to find you something at good price. Wanna know what you can do to do better? I'll give suggestions.
Don't limit your questions just for me. This is now a free for all thread ^_^ You ask a question and anyone who can answer it, will.
*hits the buzzer*
And so the game begins!!

RULES:
1. Questions can range from anything mythical, to opinions on certain topics. 2. You can NOT ask questions that have been stated in the Mythic Trivia Thread. That's cheating! scream 3. Have fun. ^_^

Killiandra Q- What do Lugh and Rhianon have in common? Simply, they are both Celtic deities. Both of which govern magic. The Children of Lugh, who hail from the north west of Nastrond, on the foothills of the mountains of Uberdelft and northern Las Alvar, is a culture based around the myth of Lugh impressing Rhiannon with his horse riding skills. That's all that I have for now. I do hope that you're satisfied. ^_^

Viscount How many actual Gods(not gender specific) have stood among the Aesir? ninja I can see this as more of me trying to stump you. Hrm...nice question. On my behalf, I'd like to say 57. And if you'd like my evidence, here are the gods of which I know in alphebetical order. ^_^ Aegir, Balder, Bor, Bragi, Buri, Eir, Eostre, Forseti, Frey, Freya, Frigg, Frow, Fulla (Volla), Gefjon, Gna, Heimdall, Hel, Heonir, Hermod, Hlin, Hod, Hoenir, Huldra, Idun, Jord, Kvasir, Lodur, Lofn, Loki, Magni, Mani, Mimir, Modi, Nanna, Nerthus, Njord, Odin, Ostra, Ran, Saga, Sif, Sjofn (Vjofn), Skadi, Snotra, Sunna, Syn, Thor, Thrud, Tyr, Ull, Vali, Var, Ve, Vidar, Vili, Vor and Weiland. This list doesn't include other names of which they are known as. So if, according to you, there are more, double check the names. Also, misspellings sometime lead to a duplicate of another gods name, so if there are, in fact, fewer, blame the firggin' editors. XD

ThaddeusTheThird Who were two of Ares and Aphrodite's most well-known children? eek Sorry that it took so long. I was seeing if anyone else would post so I could have a good sit down challenge XD As for your answer, of the 4 children I know of, 3 of them are more reknowned as Demius (God of Terror/Panic), Phobos (God of Fear) and Eros (mischievous God of Love). However, Demius and Phobos are also named moons of the planet Mars (which is the Roman name for Ares). So to complete your answer in three simple words: Demius and Phobos.

All right, here we go:
Before the Romans became the great society of tales and began adopting the ideals of the Divine Pantheon, they worshipped a series of "guardian spirits." This is a multi-part question.
1. What were these spirits called as a group? (I shall accept plural or singular.) 2. What is the significance of the one known as Janus, and where is it often depicted? 3. What is the significance of the Lares, where is it often depicted, and how many are shown? 4. Which of these "guardian spirits," other than Janus, went on to become a God of the Roman Pantheon?

Even though I gave Double Red at the blood drive, I say "Bring it on, old man!" scream
1. Numina (Numen) 2. Janus is the beginning of all things. January comes from his name. He's most depicted by a doorway. 3. Reprisenting half of the numen, the Lares (Luh-ray) were worshipped at crossroads. They were also worshipped as links from past to present, and were spirits of the home and hearth. NOTE: Restate the "How many are shown" part. Shown where? How many what? 4. Vesta, goddess of the hearth.

I was looking for "Saturn" in there, but must have brainfarted. xp As for the Lares "how many," I meant to say something like the following:
The Lares often held a shrine within the home depicting the deities in some sort of hailing pose. How many were Lares traditionally depicted in this shrine?
I'm impressed. Very few people I've met know what the Numina are.
