My own self revelations. Please, add your own.

Mans Own Enslavement is his greatest Freedom.
True injustice is allowing injustice to pass unchecked.
There are Millions of ways to kill a man, and only a few of them result in a physical death.
Truth is what you perceive.
There is no tomorrow, no yesterday, no today. There is only this moment, nothing else can exist.
Greed and hypocrisy go hand in hand, without fail.

I will add more as I visit this thread, please - add your own so we can update our own theories.

My revelation

There is no equivolency in this world, some get more than they deserve while others fail even though they tried more
Human actions are motivated by personal agendas, nobody does anything for free
My life is meaningless, the moment that I die, the world will still continue to move, babies will be more and life will go on
There is more than one truth to everything
Injustice is part of life

The ones I understand seem to me absolutely accurate. ^_^

The second one, in particular, caught my attention. In my religion class, on social issues, one concept we had to learn was that of 'nonviolent noncooperation'.

The concept is that if you nonviolently refuse to contribute to injustice, it will starve it.

Here are a few of my ideas:

To waste life is to indulge in trivialities. To live life to the fullest is to embrace trivialities.

There’s a difference between using and appreciating.

There are such things as compensation and redemption, but there should be no such thing as regret.

The best solutions are not always your own.

Stupid decisions are not always bad decisions.

You shouldn’t try to change the choices you make, because you can’t. Make the most of whatever path you might take, whether be by accident, whim, or choice.

To have doubts does not indicate you are wrong. It means you can understand another’s opinion.

It’s hard to admit to being wrong if you don’t know when you are.

Criticism is help, not hurt.

The problem with people is they’re too serious.

The worst thing that could happen is that you lose your motivation.

The best popularity is that gained by brilliance.

You’ll never achieve anything if you don’t know what you want to achieve.

My Revelation:

Without suffering, there would be no compassion.
And yet, there is so much suffering and so little compassion.

Free will without restraint is inherently destructive.

If humanity is to continue, we should all be born with an unalterable sense of guilt. I think a moral sense of social obligation to help out others would go far to improve the state of life.

I think that it is possible for God to be proven scientifically. Do I know how? No. But someone will.

there is a philosopher who believes that the ultimate sin is self sacrifice.
and to sacrifice yourself for the well being of others is nigh on murder.
this i disagree with - but to force people to be self sacrificing seems, in itself, immoral. so i ask you Vincent, to explain your reasoning so that i may understand your point of veiw better.

You make a good point, Indvick. I suppose I got a little impassioned when I wrote that.
I feel that, at least in American society, we are taught to focus so closely on our own lives that other people's are neglected as a result. It seems to be a persistent social idea that "If I stay out of his business, it doesn't matter if he's unhappy." Now I'm not espousing this idea of knowing the minutiae of a person's life, but I think we could have a healthier society if people were concerned about the lives of others around them. Forcing them? You're right, and I would agree: That seems wrong.
Did I clear things up a bit?

well enough for the clarity of your ideas. but i must ask. when is enough too much? when does caring turn to obsession, and fascination. the weak of mind are know to loose themselves in the flow of thought when focus is needed.

I've thought about this a great deal, and, well, I don't know.

I think overthinking is better than losing yourself in the dullness of constant logical thought

when the world stops and the people panic, be the last few that stay calm and relax

Yes, some of these are all too similar to things others have said or thought; but they are all things I figured out on my own before I found the works of those others, many are beliefs I've held since before I could read.

The only true wisdom may be to realize how little we know, but the only true intelligence is question anything and everything.

From a christian standpoint, Satan is who they think the god they worship is, God is who they think Satan is.

Truth is the parent of regret; regret is a band aid for the weak.

Reality is nothing besides what we make of it. Period.

The world is just one big game of theoretical chess.

There is no such thing as truth; only power.

Reality, fact, anything objective do not exist (perspectivism, not nihilism).

Society lacks many things we need to properly function without 'big brother' looking over our shoulders.

Religion is the destruction of society; the root of why we lost what we need.

There is no future; there is no past.

Being too open with people (aka sharing your happiness and pain) isn't the issue, being too closed is.

FOLLOW YOUR INTUITION. YOU CAN NOT ALWAYS DERIVE ACTIONS OR ANSWERS FROM WHAT YOU SEE AND FEEL BEFORE YOU.

Enough is too much when it starts to change the train of logic which got you there. The train of logic should change itself; not it's results.
