this question could go either way, it's all what you believe since there is no real evidence for either.
Either he created us with superior brains to understand how we came to be by his hand, something lesser animals could not possibly understand. Or perhaps we are here by accident, still with superior brains. In our ongoing quest to better understand the origins of everything, we created a god to better make sense of things we can not explain.
then again, us questioning this could be the biggest test of our faith.. it's up to you to decide.
(side note, i personally believe that we created god)

Wow. I think you just made a sharp stab at the fault line between atheism and religion.
Personally, I don't believe humans were created by a supreme being, at least not intentionally.
And I believe people created the concept of God. I sure don't think a divine voice came down upon people and told them something bigger exists. -_-
So I believe humans 'created' God.
But for clarification, I believe in a personal religion, much like a spirit, or energy, among all things. I'm not entirely atheist.

In the view of a Hindu like myself: God is everything around us, and God created us.

i use to have thoughts like that. God is all around us, God made us, and God is within us. Everything from the air we breath, to the seat you're sitting on is God.
when you give everything the title of god, and it's obviously in front of us, it's easy to believe

By giving everything the title of god, do we make the concept of god less? I think I mean to ask, do we give borders to and define something that is usually considered undefinable? And in doing so, do we make god less than what it could be?

And in doing so, do we make god less than what it could be? to me God is everything so we dont make the concept less but realize that its something greater and something more. I dont beleive that God should have its constraints and borders but the fact of it is that I beleive its something much more greater and what defines God to me is everything around us, animals, people, nature etc.

It gives you a way of explaining what you dont understand that's right in front of you

I see the world around us as miracles and energy..
When a seed falls from a tree and sprouts into a new organism, it is a miracle.
i believe that an energy is all around us, from positive to negative and everything in between, it co-insides everywhere
