Kuro's history and rise to Strategic General of the Black Knights:
After Kuro's parents were lost to a strange disease, Kuro was taken to a Geass Directorate. The directorate was under the control of V.V who would give his geass to several children and use them as test subjects to learn more about the "Power of the King." During his time there, Kuro grew angry and hated the world around him since he had been forced to become a science project. Kuro was able to finish his time in the Directorate and then escaped back to his home city and returned to his school. He hid his powers from those around him.
Kuro found that he could use this power to manipulate the emotions of those around him, but the power had limits. He had to make direct eye contact and he could only effect up to three people once an hour. For a month he spent his time gaining anything he wanted from those around him just by using his power on them, convincing them that they were his best friend or that they loved him like a brother. Once Kuro had used his power to get back on his feet in society he became an Honorary Britannian and went back to school. After a year, while the war between Britannia and the Black Knights raged on, Kuro grew more anxious to join them in their fight.
During a battle within a neighboring city, Kuro watched from a distance. Once the battle was over he followed the Black Knights back to their base. When he entered, the BKs were suspicious and didn't trust him enough to let him in. Kuro was tempted to use his Geass to convince them to but that could only backfire on him in the end. Instead he told them his story and why he hated Britannia enough to fight against them. They saw that he was serious and his lust for justice and therefore allowed them into their ranks. He started out fighting in squad three, piloting a standard Knightmare.
Kuro was gifted in tactics and strategy which made him a nightmare to fight on the battlefield. He was able to judge his opponents and quickly find their weaknesses and use it against them. He could watch the patterns and battle positions of the enemy and was able to come up with several outcomes and ideas of ways to minimize casualties on his side and completely obliterate the enemy forces. After only a couple of battle, Kuro began getting much better at piloting a Knightmare, being able to maneuver around the enemy with ease and use his weapons to their fullest potential.
During some occasions Kuro was able to meet a few of the enemies soldiers in person, during which he would use his Geass on them. Once they had made eye contact with him the first time, they only needed to hear his voice during that hour to manipulate their emotions. While they were in their Knightmares, Kuro would send them a voice message that would convince them that to hate their comrades and to fight against their own allies.
With this strategy, the enemy would easily become paranoid, unable to guess who would turn against them next. This cause the ranks to fall into chaos on the battle field, making them easy to overcome. Because of his strategic genius and his ability to get things done successfully on the battlefield, Kuro easily moved up the ranks until he was Strategic General.
--------------------------------------------
Capabilties:
Kuro is incredibly smart. He has spent his life studying various things. However, since he has joined the Black Knights he has spent his time studying tactics used in the past by both the Black Knights and Britannia. Using this information, Kuro is able to create new strategies that would be incredibly effective against the enemies of the Black Knights.
While on the battlefield, Kuro is able to study his opponents, usually finding their weaknesses within minutes. He is also able to predict moves and tactics used by the enemy using strategies they have used in the past as a basis for the way they think and maneuver on the battlefield. He is quite capable of locating weak points in enemy formations as well as realizing the differences between traps made by the enemies. By studying the environment of a battlefield before hand, Kuro is able to find ways to use natural barriers to our advantage. Such as, creating avalanches and landslides while in mountainous terrain or burying bombs underground before hand in order to cause underground caves int he area to collapse, taking enemy fractions down with them. He is able to manage several squads at once, constantly ordering them into the proper places and is able to determine the best times to attack and defend. Kuro is also rather cautious and is always aware that the enemy will do anything to win but he will always find a way to turn that desperation against them since enemies that are too anxious will always get sloppy.
Another useful capability of Kuro's is his Geass. The power to control the emotions of those who he has used his Geass on. This only requires them to make eye contact with him once. After this, only the sound of his voice is needed to command their emotions. By simply saying "Hate the Britannian soldiers" or "You must be feeling tired" he is able to effect them in any way that he wishes. His power only lasts on one person for an hour and he is able to use it on up to three people at the same time.
