This one isn't a word game though. It's more like 20 Questions, but without the limit. A more stimulating game than ABC, and one that I think will be more fun. I play this game with my sister all the time (only we use Discworld items).
You pick a person, place, or thing from the show or movie and people try to guess what it is.
Rules:1. You don't get to post an object until you've gotten the one before it right. The person who posted the question before you
must verify your answer.
2. Guessers can make as many guesses as they want in any post. They may ask
1 yes/
no question and cannot ask another until it is answered.
3. If someone gets an answer correct, they have 24 hours from their last post in this thread to confirm they have something. After twenty-four hours it becomes an open stage and the next person to say they have an object gets to go.
4. The person whose turn it is must be responsible for keeping track of the guesses. If you know you will not be able to come back online for awhile, make sure to find someone else to answer for you and PM the answer them. If the questioner doesn't come online within twenty-four hours of their last post to check answers, it becomes an open stage. If an object is up for a long time the questioner can post hints at his or her discretion.
5. Any object/concept specific to the Firefly 'verse is acceptable, no matter how obscure, abstract or unusual, but if it appears in the Serenity movie or the comics (which not everyone's seen), that fact should be stated when you claim the stage.
6. Minimal chatting while waiting for a new question is fine, but try to keep mostly focused on the purpose of this thread.
This thread was
partially insipred by the official Writer's Forum
Riddle Room and the
Mythology Trivia thread in GD--Word Games that followed. (As you can see, I've gaffled some of Bode's rules almost verbatum.)
