I'm curious, in your opinion what do YOU think about each topic?
- How old do you have to be to be to be considered a sexually active teen?
- When is the right time to have sex?
- Why did you keep your virginity?

Generally being a sexually active teen means... being a teenager and having sex. It most often refers to teenagers under the age of 18 though.
I think sex is appropriate whenever the people are ready, but people have sex underage makes me uneasy because they're not able to obtain birth control and deal with negative consequences on their own and few teenagers are going to be open enough with their parents to have them help them get everything covered. If a 16 year old starts having sex, but tells her parents so they can get birth control and the appropriate medical check ups, then that teenager has demonstrated being emotionally mature enough to deal with it, as well as sexually educated. However, very few teens are going to do that.
And I personally hold on to my virginity because I'm just not ready yet. I love my boyfriend very much, but I want some sort of assurance that we have a future. I don't need to be married or engaged, I just want to know he doesn't intend to not be with my anywhere in the foreseeable future.

The right time to have sex is when if feels so right that it is not a question, when you are with someone who feels the same way you do.
I stay a virgin because I have not reached that point.

the right age is the age it hits you.
the right time is the right time, yes its tautology but it works.
and convince for the most part.

Well... You have to be a teen and sexually active. Doesn't matter if you're 13, 15, 14, etc. You just have to a teen. And sexually active. XD
I think that it's different for every person. But in my opinion, I think it's the right time to have sex when you've found the right person.
And I'm saving my virginity for that one, right person. biggrin
