Perhaps it's not that there isn't interest in vast right-wing conspiracies, it's that it's officially unpopular. Strong opinions about Obama's inadequacies, the goodness of America and the American Communist Lawyers Union might have bad repercussions in the future.
E-Discovery means that casual, dumb conversation on a site like this can be dug up years later and used against us, much like Sotomayor's past dumb remark about white males is being used against her now.
And that kind of "gotcha" personally makes me reluctant to share my opinion even though I'm in the Land of the Free. Others probably feel the same way.
