This is for those who would like to be kitsune.
(These are some details you should know for the kitsune race)
In the book Kitsune, there are listed thirteen different types of kitsune. The named types, Celestial and Wild, are mostly associated with the kitsune who follow Inari, and those who don't. In other words, the myobu and the nogitsune.
Kitsune have varying numbers of tails, which indicate their rank in a celestial bureaucracy. Or they get a tail with each century of age. Or they get nine tails when they’re nine hundred years old. There is only one kitsune at a time with nine tails, who is the leader of all the kitsune. (Except there might be one with ten tails, who is the mother of all kitsune, or she might have a thousand tails.) Kitsune serve Inari, the rice god, in a rigid bureaucracy. Kitsune are tricksters with allegiance to no one. Kitsune are connected with elements, or with places. Kitsune are immortal, but they can be killed.
Types:
Kitsune are typically split into two groups, Kitsune and Nogitsune, "Myobu" usually meaning "Good" kitsune and "Nogitsune" (lit. "Wild Fox") meaning "Bad" or "Renegade" kitsune.
"Myobu"-- kitsune sometimes follow a set of rules or law (set forth by their matron deity of the Ten Tailed One, Inari, or others) that may include never harming anyone unless in defense of a third party, never killing, keeping their word at any cost, and other things along those lines. Nevertheless, they are more of the benevolent sort of kitsune described above, playing tricks on proud samurai and corrupt nobles, etc. Ones that serve Inari sometimes wear a red scarf or bandanna around their necks to identify themselves as followers of Inari.
"Nogitsune"-- kitsune do not follow any rules but their own, do not follow the Ten Tailed One or Inari, and are typically regarded to as evil. They are more of the sort mentioned above that intend harm on the innocent, will kill mortals readily, will doom a farmer struggling to support their family, and other nefarious deeds. The nine tailed foxes of Chinese legend and other asian countries besides Japan may be identified as "Nogitsune."

Name: Yumi Reiko Age: 15 Type of Kitsune: Myobu Abilities: A large sword is her one weapon in human form. Once in fox form, she uses claws and fangs and can control fire (but cannot produce it). Personlality: She was abandoned when she was little so she travels around but never strays to far from here homeland. She is quiet (but can be talkative to some) and doesnt open up to most people; but if you befriend her, she will be your friend for life. Although she acts fearless, she has a huge phobia of dogs. (3 tails) Although when in human form, she only shows one tail and her ears at all times; if needed, she will wear a hooded cloak to hide these features. Appearance: Fox Form:

Abilities: She camoflauges at morning and somethings night when she's a fox because she is white. She uses her martial arts skills in her human form
Personality: She was an orphan all her life. Stealing stuff for life and living in the street. Now she is mostly quiet and will smile once in a while. She can be determind. No one has ever heard her talk.(She has 5 tails)

Name: Shikaro Age: 15 Type of Kitsune: Myobu Abilities: A spellcaster in both fox and human mode. He can summon the nature around him as defense and offense when needed. He is a quick thinker, and in human form can outwit opponents the best he can. Personality: He usually, seems quiet when by himself. But when others talk to him, he cant stop talking. He used to scam people in the earlier days for food and money. He loves strategies and helping others when he can. Appearance:

Name: Echo Roman Age: 16 Type of Kitsune: nogitsune Abilities: Able to heal any wound, but cost of energy is high. She fights with hand to hand combat, but if needed, she has two small twin blades. Light of her feet, her speed is incredibly fast. In fox form, she uses a shield that floats around her body with small flames circling it along with icy blue ones inbetween the other flames. Personality: Shy, quiet but once known, she can be friendly but not very talkative. She lost someone close to her when she was younger. He was like a brother to her, yet she loved him as family even though he was a friend. Being forced to leave her deceased family, she became a loner and a longing for company has settled over her shoulders. The need to get rid of that dark shadow was strong and still is. She doesn't follow anyone and will fight if she is in the mood or something has provoked her to bare her fangs. Echo, once known, seems to be a lost soul to many. Appearance:

Name: Kohaku Kureno Age: 17 Type of Kitsune: Nogitsune Abilities: Darkness and night are best suited, he can dissapear in shadows and use theses to blind his enemy if he wants to. Personality: Bit of a loner, fun-loving (definition of 'fun'= usually stealing or destroying things, playing tricks on people...) usually never angry, and very lazy... Not a very good fighter, and his kitsune form is one of the smallest (bigger than a fox-pup though), which he hates. His kitsune form isn't natural (the size), his brothers and sisters are very big in their kitsune forms; I guess you can sau he's the runt of the litter, although in his human form he's about 6 feet tall... He's always having 'fun' and can be a drag at some times. Appearance: (Human)  (Kitsune)

Name: Kilika ( Ika) Age: unknown. appears 18-19 Type of Kitsune: Myobu Abilities: skilled with hand to hand combat, she uses her sword or water magic while in human form. in her kitsune form, she uses claws and fangs. Ika is shockingly fast in either form, she fights with agility and speed. Personality: She has a warrior mentality, and though she fallows Inari she pushs the boundaries between Myobu and Nogitsune. like some of her kind she is very clever, and uses that when she needs to. Ika will protect others, and use her magic to heal.. but she has a destructive temper and a very wild nature. No one is sure why her Kitsune form is more human than fox, but she is much better at fighting when in that form. her fingers and toes are clawed, her muzzle is fanged.. and her tails are as much weapons as the rest of her. she is older than most think, though she never says her exact age. because of her odd Kitsune form she calls herself a Hob, or water child. Appearance: she is dressed like this in either form.  Kitsune/Hob: she is only a few inches taller in this form, still holding a remote human form. she has only two tails.
