Chiharu wandered around by a nice little ramen stand smelling the delicious scents that wafted from the small little stand. She would've liked to get something to eat if she hadn't already had lunch. Oh well, the ramen could be for another day then. She sighed lightly and continued her walk down the street. The street itself was pretty much devoid of people, but it did have a stand or two here and there. Trinkets, riceballs, ramen, you name it.
Chiharu pondered where everyone could be on this lovely day and shrugged. The heat of the sun didn't seem to drag her down today so she could probably find something fun to do. And nothing else would please her more than to browse the little stands on this pretty much empty street.
She lingered around the stands that didn't focus on food considering the fact that she had already had her lunch and admired the pretty little trinkets from afar. She never focused on one trinket for long until she stumbled across and small butterfly carved of cherrywood. That caught her attention almost immediately and she stared at the little butterfly for a while before asking the owner how much it cost. She was quickly informed that it was ¥500. She opened up her obi slightly and extracted the said amount and handed it to the man before wandering off once more with the butterfly trinket in hand.

Kei followed the path through the series of stalls with a list in hand. He was out to do his shopping for the week. There wasn't a whole lot that he needed; maybe just a little food. Later he would have to look into fetching logs for burning in the fire pit. He might even get a few things for himself today.
As he went about his business, the delicious smell of ramen wafted through the air. He paused momentarily, but forced himself to move on. He wasn't really out to eat, but maybe a drink instead. Or perhaps he'd buy some sort of keepsake instead; like something puppy-related. He'd always found he had a fondness for animals, most especially dogs. After all, he missed having Pochi around.
He walked through the groups of people, trying his best not to bump into people. The times he did, he found himself apologizing profusely like normal. How embarrassing.

"Sorry!"
There weren't very many people in this section, for there was no real reason for Chizumi to have crashed into the stall. She hadn't even had anything to drink yet, seeing how it was still early in the day; yet despite that, she had managed to crash headlong into a stall filled with little trinkets, knocking many things askew. Luckily, it didn't seem anything was breakable.
That didn't mean the worker wasn't scolding her, and trying to get her to help pick everything back up; Chizumi was a bit busy trying to figure out why she'd fallen, however. It didn't take her long to determine the culprit, however: her sandal had broken.
"That's supposed to be bad luck, isn't it?" she was thinking aloud more then anything else, ignoring the disgruntled worker (that was more because of a lack of attention, rather then an intent to be rude, although it likely looked like it to any observers). She'd only come to this section to see if she could find any odd jobs for the day, but it looked like she'd be buying some new sandals, instead.

It was another of those days, another of those walks where she was supposedly to find somewhere she was going to go. But she kept getting distracted, apparently. She was so easy to distract. Just wave something shiny in her face and she'll be sure to run up to it, grab it and run for her life. Like a thief ... only she wasn't going to justify that. Who would? But that wasn't the case when she heard something crash and a lot of people wondering what the heck it was.
Upon hearing it, Nami immediately wandered towards it, bumping into a man with a blue kimono and dark hair, paper in hand. Oh, and she bumped into him hard, making Nami move away immediately, shouting, "I - I didn't do it!" Way to be obvious. Someone spoke, making Nami turn to the scene at hand. The stall was in ruins. Well, it didn't break into a million tiny pieces though it did seem close to it. Someone - a black-haired woman - had just bumped into a stall full of trinkets, making the pretty little things scatter all over the ground.
Nami absentmindedly walked towards the scene ... until she heard a crack beneath her. Looking down and moving her sandals aside, she realized what had happened: she stepped on a puppy trinket and broke it.
"U-Uwa! I didn't do it!" she shouted, flailing her arms before spotting the black-haired woman who previously bumped into the stall. "She did!"

It was just one crazy disaster after another on the once quiet day! Chiharu was busily inspecting her butterfly trinket as she walked down the street back towards the ramen stand that she had ignored. Eh, she couldn't help it if she wanted some, the wonderfully tempting smell was taking over it seemed. That's when she bumped into Kei, not that she had known his name of course, the impact was rather hard and if someone had been looking they would've thought that she'd done it on purpose. Well, either way the impact had knocked them both on the ground sending papers flying everywhere. "Aiyee! I'm so sorry!", then again it couldn't possibly be all her fault though, sure she had been busily inspecting a trinket when she could've been paying attention to where she was walking, but it seemed like this man hadn't been paying attention either (She doesn't know he's blind yet). That's when she finally noticed said trinket. The rather abrupt fall and caused the trinket to shatter into many pieces. At first she gonked, but then she sighed, if wood could shatter that easily it must not have been the best material. She finally redirected her attention to Kei then.
Chiharu stepped up and offered her hand to the man, still unaware that he was blind. "Again, I'm so sorry! Are you alright? Let me help you up~", so she was rambling, hopefully he was an understanding. She'd help him up then help gather papers, good plan. She looked forward, and her eyes widened as she saw Chizumi. And of course, the ruined stall. What in the world had happened there?

Kei was startled by the series of loud noises. First a crash, followed by a crunch. Then someone had bumped into him and rushed off (Nami); said person, sounded like a shouting. She seemed rather paranoid, having shouted 'I didn't do it' immediately. What had happened anyway?
Before he knew it, someone else had crashed into him. Someone much more polite than the first though. "I-it's alright," he said a bit flustered. He stood up, not realizing the girl was holding her hand out to him, and brushed himself off. "I apologize. All the noise, and I wasn't paying attention I guess. I'm very sorry."
It must have been confusing. After all, he was acting polite, but at the same time he hadn't taken the girl's hand. It wasn't out of rudeness of course, though it may have seemed like it since no one knew about his lack of sight.
When he thought about the crunching sound though he became worried. Crud, had he broken something? Oh dear, what a mess.

"What?" Chizumi just blinked at Nami for a few moments, before realizing what she was being accused of. If the worker believed Nami, then she would wind up paying for it...
"Me? I'm not even there, I'm right here! I didn't break anything!" Her declaration most closely resembled a disgruntled squawk, even as she hurriedly glanced around to make sure she hadn't actually broken anything. It didn't look like she had, at least. After making certain of that, she hurriedly threw her arm out at the blond girl to point, "It was her!"
The worker at the stall in question didn't seem happy with the situation, looking more annoyed then anything else. She announced that she didn't care who was paying for it, but someone was.
Chizumi had no intention of paying for something that she hadn't even broken in the first place, so she just attempted to stare down the younger girl, folding her arms across her chest. She already had to buy sandals, so she wasn't adding a trinket to the list. Although to be honest, it likely wasn't a very expensive item - but it was a point of pride. Or just stubbornness; she didn't have much pride, but she was plenty mule-headed.

"Aiyee! I'm so sorry!"
A woman had shouted but Nami paid no mind to her. What she did pay mind to was the similar-looking woman blinking at her in confusion, most likely - more like definitely - because of her recent accusation. She looked around and proceeded to point at Nami and accuse her.
A worried look came on Nami's face, quickly followed by a rather pissed off one, eyebrows furrowing and eyes narrowed, mimicking the crossed arms of the older girl and glaring at her with her own. Despite the obvious height difference, Nami wasn't the least bit scared. Oh, not at all. She was used to dealing with people older than her, anyway.
"I did not," she said, glare still in place. "You were the one who scattered it everywhere!"

Chiharu blinked in slight confusion when Kei didn't take her hand. At first she figured that he really was upset with her when she noticed the unusual dullness in his eyes. Was he blind then? She sighed and gathered up his papers for him. From her rushed work the papers were all dusty and all over the place when she handed them back to him.
"Again, I'm sorry.", she said ruffling her hand through her hair as a sort of gesture. All to waste though, it seemed like she forgot about his problem in mere moments.
She looked away over toward the sound of the crashing. To her surprise... More or less she saw Chizumi in the middle of the mess and some other girl standing suspiciously close to a broken trinket. "Erm... I'm Fujiyomi Chiharu, and you are?", she asked to the other stretching out her hand to shake his. She pulled it back seconds after taking in her theories, even if he was blind this felt like instinct to her now-a-days. "So... Do you want to go see what all the ruckus is about?", she offered. Even if he didn't want to go she'd probably slip off to see for herself. It looked rather interesting... Or chaotic.

"Oh thank you," Kei said, taking the papers. He didn't mind if they had gotten dirty, he was just glad that someone nice was helping; trying to gather them on his own would have been difficult. "My name is Ten'un Keitaro. It's nice to meet you Chiharu-san."
He shuffled his papers, and then folded them, slipping them into his kimono. That's probably where he should have kept the papers in the first place. He was lucky to have gotten them; special raised print for him to read, and he'd gone and ruined them. He blushed in embarrassment. "Y-yes actually. If you don't mind." He was surprised when his hand was taken, and realized he must not have noticed it being offered in the first place. "I'd like to find out what's going on," he admitted. "If you wouldn't mind lead the way, please." He would follow her to their new destination, just to see what that loud crash and all the chaos was about.
