So what's your favorite sci-fi?
For me, my list is very very long razz I love sci-fi so much... but just to mention a few of my favorites: Star Wars, Firefly & Serenity, Appleseed & Appleseed Ex Machina, Red Planet, etc.

I like Star Wars (even though it is more science fantasy), Star Trek, Doctor Who, Torchwood, and the old sci-fi mixed with mystery show Sherlock Holmes in the Twenty Second Century (yay, it was a cartoon!)

I started to watch even more Sci-Fi and I would have to add a few more favorites: Stargate (SG-1, Atlantis & Universe), Battlestar Galactica and Terminator (all 4 movies and the tv show).

I like Zathura, A Wrinkle in Time, and The Last Mimzy. All movies. a Wrinkle in Time isn't so related to astronomy, but it's sci-fi, and it's cool

I checked out The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy from my local library, and never looked back. After that, I found Bradbury, Larry Niven, and Robert Heinlein and became even more ingrained. I finally got around to reading Carl Sagan's Contact, and that was the final killing blow. Of course, I was watching TNG in 1992...so....yeah...

Probably Star Wars. I also like the movie "Moon". It was really complicated and I had to read a little bit about it afterwards to truly understand it. I really recommend it. Here is the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twuScTcDP_Q
