So you want to hear my opinion about gaia? No? Well you must have since you clicked the link.
Gaia,many of us remember the unbriddled commercials for stuff for Gaia within the site, oh those were the days, however, lately Gaia has just turned into that whore willing to suck any company's d**k for a buck. 'Well Martyr isnt that harsh?Their just trying to get site funding' NO, it really ISNT. These days you cant navigate to some portion of the site without seeing Skittles j**z and Sims s**t all over the place. Hell, The DC is now even skittles themed. Plus the Sims is almost as over commercialized as Dane Cook, theres nothing wrong with a little advertising but when you even theme an event after a company I really start to wonder are you just giving them just a BJ? or are you giving these companies halfnhalf for this money? thats not to say Gaia doesnt have anything worth being on this site for. Alot of the guilds are fileld with unique traits and people, its just Gaia itself that has become your mum when she goes to 'the factory' at night the crack whore in Downtown who's like 'I'll give you the whole package for 3 bucks.' and you just give her money out of pity.

Thats true, and I especially dislike how they come out with all of these EIs every month or two. I usually skip over reading any announcements about sponsors for movies and all that s**t.
The only reason I stay on gaia is for the people and the guilds, and the kawaii avatars.

1. Hate the Skittles crap.
2. Don't mind Sims to much. Makes sense that they'd be sponsor to me.
3. LOVE THE EIS. X'D
4. I've never really been into Gaia for the items. So, the influx of sponsor based items doesn't really bother me.
Also, as more people join, they'll need more money.
It's the way things work.

I tend to ignore the Skittles s**t. It's been around the longest, and hasn't been a hit-and-run on Gaia, which means they're providing lots of monetary support to spew their rainbow-flavored ads at us.
I love me some EIs, but they're coming out too fast, and some are over-priced, or under-done. The Diapered Egg needs to evolve. The Holy $#17 should've been a HELL of a lot better.
I agree that Gaia's gone money-hungry, but with as many members as they have with the site still being FREE to join, it's insane. I'm surprised they haven't found more ways to cash in on this place, because with the ever-growing population and constant stream of holiday-based events, they're going to need more servers. Especially with Booty Grab being a popular thing lately.

If that's true, then they need to not be placed on the EI crew. If you're forced to do something you don't like, you do a worse job of it. It's ********' stupid. rolleyes

Well, like I said I think someone said that, so it might not be true. But they do suck at EI's none the less, so they shouldn't be allowed to do them anymore.
