This topic has been started because a certain someone who shall remain nameless sefir has decided to throw in his opinion about characters in the "Ask Me Anything..."thread. So I figure that this is as good as any to allow members to express which character they like and why.

Oh lookie lookie, I get to be the first to boast my opions on this page...yay! Well my favorite RE character is definitly Chris!!! Because well he's the coolness. I can't exactly think of anything special that he's achieved in the series but for an animated, non-existent, character he's pretty damn hot (depending on which version). Yea go ahead say it...it's shallow...but thats part of how everyone bases who their favorite character is...dont deny it!
Also Wesker is pretty awsome but I had to pick my fav so I picked Chris.

Nicholi (I have no idea how to spell his name) has gotta be one of my favs. He has no super powers like Wesker, but he still manages to do his job and do it well. Plus the accent just fits his character so perfectly. I like Wesker, but he reminds me a lil too much of Johnny Bravo. So Nicholi has a slight advantage. Ada would be a close second.

Hey, Jonny Bravo aint nothing like Wesker. HEY HOO HA! (sorry had to do it)
Anyway, yes, everyone should know this, but I am deeply entangled with the character named Albert J. Wesker. He's smart, sadistic, and cold. He's just ******** awesome. OF course I think hes hot too, but thats really besides the point. I love the way he laughs and the way he works and thinks. He's just sick and its so sweet to see him in action.
This is actually my top 10 RE faves (dead/alive):

4.) Steve Burnside

Leon S. Kennedy.
I like him because he was in the same game as Claire. Nah that's not it, although it is another reason for me liking him. I like him because for a rookie cop, he sure kicked a**. "First day on the job huh" Can't top that. Although Claire, my second fave (I love RE2, so sue me), could be consired as such also.

I don't really need to say whom my favorite character is because most of you know it's Wesker. I've basically explained my reasons as to why he is my favorite by answering the question of why he is so badass in the "Ask Me" thread.
My number 2 man in the RE series is Joseph Frost. The poor b*****d met an untimely end in the intro to RE all because Jill Valentine didn't act, nor did she even attempt to rescue him. We've all seen the intro, both Original and Remake, Jill just watches those dogs kill Joseph. Had he survived it would've been one hell of a game to have one more man watching out for you. Or to play as.
Barry, Jill, Chris, Joseph and even Wesker. That would've been a twisted story to have all those options.

In the original they were ALL flakes, so there's was no helping it, but in Remake if you notice, you'll hear gunshots even after Joseph is killed, and when the camera goes to Jill you hear a clicking of an empty gun, so she at least tried to help him. She just kinda missed cause she was so freaked out. Playing as Joseph would kick a** though! Start out with a shotgun! That would be awesome.
