Fawn came out of the Gryffindor common area with her bag weighing a ton and her hands loaded with her books and a few essays. She tried to walk down the stairs and was making her way down. She stepped down onto a step and it gave way under her foot. Oh s**t! The vanishing stair! were the first thoughts that crossed her mind. She tumbled down the stairs until she reached the bottom of the stair set. Upon the final stair she heard a loud crack and a wave of pain shot through her. Tears welled up in her eyes as it felt as if a red hot knife had been stabbed in her lower leg. She grabbed her wand and shot a bright red flare out of it. If somebody doesn't see that and at least get curious I think I'll scream.

(Sorry my character isnt a guy, but I saw your ad thingy after i posted. I can delete my post if you like.) Mumbling, Selena was making her way back to the Gryffindor Common Room when she heard a crash and saw a flare come from around the corner. Rushing up to the staircase, she saw Fawn on the ground on the bottom steps of the staircase. The books and papers she had been carrying were sprawled all around her.
"Are you alright?" she asked, kneeling to help the girl. By the looks of the girl's facial expressions, she looked she was in pain. Selena had to help get her to the school nurse.

(Its Perfectly fine lets keep Rp'ing.) Fawn was on the verge of losing it when a fellow Gryffindor girl that she'd seen in many of her classes rushed around the corner. A tear of relief rolled down her cheek just before another wave of pain rolled over her and caused her to double over in pain. "Stupid Vanishing Stair." she muttered to herself hoping Selena wouldn't hear. "I think.. ahh!" she inhaled sharply as the pain ricocheted again. "I might have broken my leg."

Selena looked at Fawn's leg. It didn't look too good, as there was an area of swelling where the break was. Selena had been practicing a charm that could heal a broken leg, but she wasn't sure it was wise to use it yet. She still needed more practice with it. Better let the school nurse do it rather than cause a bigger problem.
"We have to get you to the hospital wing." she said. She quickly gathered up as many of Fawn's things as she could into Fawn's bag. Pulling out her wand, she said "Locomotor bag" With that, the bag rose up and hovered in the air, waiting for them to go.
Since the charm was not specifically meant to be used on humans, Selena felt that it would be safer to help walk Fawn over to the hospital wing, rather than levitating her as well. Putting Fawn's arm around her neck, she helped her stand up and hobble to the hospital wing.

"Thank you, Selena." was all Fawn could say. The pain from her leg was at the least inhibiting all her possibilities of thinking straight.Don't black out. Just don't black out. Her vision was limited by the pain seeming to cause a gray tunnel in her range of vision. "Selena. Stop. I can't walk anymore." Damn why does everyone have to see me like this. Especially my friends. I have always been the tough girl and now they see me hobbling along on the verge of breaking down. she thought trying to rest for a minute. "Selena I can't do it." she quietly sobbed. "Why could a Slytherin have fallen?" Especially that one whos always picking on those poor first years.

Selena stopped for a bit when Fawn said that she couldn't walk anymore. She really couldn't blame her, since hobbling on one leg must have been difficult, even with someone to help. Fawn's bag, stopped right behind them and continued to float in midair.
"You can do it." Selena said. She really wasn't a very assertive or confident person, a majority of that having to do with living in Damian's shadow, but she she knew that she had to at least say something encouraging.
When Fawn complained as to why couldn't it have been a Slytherin to take the fall, Selena smiled. Honestly, she also wished it had been a Slytherin rather than a Gryffindor. Those horrible girls were always picking on her. It just wasn't fair. But those thoughts aside, the reality was that it had been a Gryffindor and that they needed to get Fawn's leg fixed.
"We really have to get your leg fixed by the school nurse, unless you know the charm that can fix broken bones. I know it, but I haven't practiced it well enough to use it on a person." she said.

"Okay." Fawn smiled considering that she didn't know how to fix her leg, let alone a simple cut. She stood up again ready to hobble off. "I'm ready." she said her tears long gone. As they made their way to the hospital wing Fawn asked, "Selena do you remember what we were going to have to do for the Herbology final?"

As they continued on their way, Selena laughed a little at Fawn's question. She really didn't know, but frankly she failed to see how that was important right now.
' She's probably just trying to have a conversation with me while we make our way to the hospital wing.' she thought. "I honestly can't remember what the professor said we would need to remember." she replied.
Frankly, that was a bad thing that she didn't know either because that meant that she either had to find out from someone else or not do well. Thankfully, O.W.L.s were still a year off for her.
After a little bit, they finally arrived in the Hospital Wing, where Selena helped Fawn sit down on one of the beds. Fawn's bag came to a rest right beside the bed.
