Story

To live as a dragon is to be a part of nature.
We existed so long ago that most of you know us only as legend.
I guess it is a testament to our kind that you remember us at all.....

It was long ago that i last flew, let my wings fill with air and just soar away.
Theres a great sense of freedom in flight.
Freedom...freedom is a word dragons understand very well....for freedom is not always a good thing.

Let me take you back to that time...
To the time when dragons rose to the sky as often as birds...
To a time of both great joy and sorrow.

a beginnning... and an end...

and this time...you wont forget.

Information

This is the Information section.
Here i will post information about both the world and the dragons.
please use this infomation to flush out your form.

(this is based around the stories in my book however for playabilty im going to mess with my time lines...)

Dragon information

Dragons Types
There are 3 main dragon types.
arrow Fire dragons.

arrow Water dragons.

Dragons live in wyres which will be more explained int he next sections.
The wyres are run by the wyreleaders a pair of dragons that have won leadership of the clan. Queen dragons (the main egg producers) and their mates are able to apply for leadership. The dragons status are split into colour.

Fire Dragons
Fire dragons live in Volcanic wyre. (for the purpose of our story theres only one)
Fire dragons have large bat like wings, and breathe fire. Also their scales make them able to swim in lava, as such their scales are incredibly tough.
They have good realtions with humans, even let humans live outside their wyre.

exclaim When a green mates with another dragon most of the eggs will die. on the event that they do hatch the normal outcome is a green mottle. ((green with patches of the males colour, they are reguarded as the lowest status))


Water Dragons
Water dragons live in ocean wyre. They have no wings but can turn into a mist or water, to get about. They can stay underwater for long peirods of time even in freezing cold water. They also have the ability shoot jets of water out of thier mouths. Also they love to collect shiney objects and humans who give them objects that meet thier standards are often rewarded by the dragon. (good relations with humans in the asain region)

Water Dragon Hierarchy
queen dragon: pale blue
top males: Blue, Dark green
other males: ice blue, grey
other females: purple, aqua
union of grey and aqua dragons normally result in purples.
Purples are the only females unable to lay eggs of any kind.

Solar Dragons
Solar dragons live in one of two sky wyres. (dimond shape golden city with 4 "blades" at each corner) (Terlian wyre and Crudam wyre)
Solar dragons are often obnioxcious, and look down on humans as insects or pets.
They are the aistocrats of the dragon world, matings can only take place if the parents give thier permission. Dragon parings outside of the solar speices is rare indeed. Solars act like judges often settle disputes on the "lower world" dragons and even settling human affairs. They dont tend to have much to do with the lower world preferring to stay on their wyres.
Solars are the most bird like their wings are feathered scales. They are able to shoot beams of light out through thier mouths. They dont eat unlike their kin, they absorb sunlight through their scales a good hour sunning keeps them going for days.

Lilacs tend to give birth to a maximium of 2 eggs. ((normally an aqua is the result))

Rare dragons
as well as normal dragons their are a few rare dragons. most of these are not going to be playable or limited. (if limited ill allocate them to people)
arrow Arctic (grey blue colour) Was the rare union of a Dark Aqua and a White dragon. The combination of fire and water means this dragon has the power of ice.

arrow Tunnel dragons (black) These dragosn live with the fire dragons carving tunnels out of the earth with thier large clawed hands and flat spike tail. These dragons are nocturnal and are blinded by sunlight. They are also able to teleport from place to place since they dont posess wings. Fire dragons treat them with repect since they are cousins to them but the solars treat them like over grown lizards. (at one point the solars tried to class the tunnelers as lizards and the fires went into an uproar)(playable)

Dragon Gemstones
Solar dragons are masters of crystals. they have learned how to manipulte crystals by shining light through them.
arrow Recording Gem; a recording gem can be place in a hollow then a low powered beam can be directed at it. The effect is either projection or hologram of any image. By using a stronger beam information can be writeen to the gem stones.
arrow Lev Gem; a lev gem can levitate in midair by shinig light onto it.
They are hard to make but once made they are very powerful. A rock the size of a car can float at head height by the power of a tourch. The less light their is the lower the gem is to the ground the brighter the higher. These gems are placed in the corner blades of the skywyres and are exposed to sunlight during the day and Lightwave gems at night. occasionally a dragon may have to charge the gem up directly but its a rare occurance.
arrow Lightwave gems placed in sunlight during the day, will mean they give off light right through till the next day. They are used not only in the lev rooms but also to light the wyre at night, normally with some kind of covering to stop it giving off light.

Dragon Mating
Most Dragons mate during a mating flight. The queen in question rises into the air as high as they can screaming difiantly. This is the signal to get males ready, fire dragon females normally feed hard before they rise. Then the queen flys as fast and as cunningly as she can. The males chase after as fast as they can too the object is to catch her. When they catch her the mating takes place. (No im not going to describe it scream , its private redface )

The Hydra
Once there was a tunnel dragon, he worked hard and was the best digger of his race, which is why the fire dragons made him stay underground for almost a year. (he was mining speical gemstones the solar dragons needed to make lightwave gems) They didnt mean to but it happened, now a year undergound would make anyone alittle bitter. This dragon was no differant he deeply resented not being able to see the sky properly as such he started to wonder what the sun was like. (tunnel dragons are lightsensitive and so are nocturnal) As he wondered a cave in took place. He would of been crushed, had it not been for the black dragons ability to teleport.
His "mind in the clouds" so to speak he teleport high into the air, for a brief instant he though he saw the sun. He was wrong. He had teleported right over a thunderstorm and now he was now falling back toward earth through the dark clouds. Terified he teleported again...

Something happened though as he teleported, he was struck by lightning. The lightning and the power of his teleport somehow corrupted him when he emerge again in the sky. He was changing. His size increased greatly as his body was pulled apart, his back burned as a set of wings grew from his back. His head was sliptting and then it did once the transformation was finished he was no longer a tunnel dragon.

He was hydra. The black dragon.

Hydra has three heads, the right one has two red eyes, the left one two blue eyes and the middle one has one of each colour. Each head was completely mad, but the center head he was just twisted...

((This is where the story differs from my book.))
Hydra began a terrible war against all the dragons. He killed over half the populaton before the dragons found a way of sealing him underground hopefully never to rise again...

Hydra did ofcourse.

So once free he began the second war of dragons, but as the others still hadnt ever fully recovered their numbers. it was unkown wether they could stop him or not. Cynder was the key, he found away to stop hydra. (who had lost both his other heads by the end of the fight) by turning him into a small statue which he cast into a volcano. (he didnt have the power to kill him, or the desire)

Hydra slept for many years until the time of blaze and burn.
which is where our story begins....


Legends
Ocarin
This was the treaty made between humans and fire dragons that they would live
in harmony with humans and share in each other.
After treat was agreed together the tribe of humans and the dragons built a gaint Cairn. (a pile of rocks) To mark the union. Was destroyed by Hydra in the second dragon war.

Gowalime
Gowalime was a bronze solar dragon. He had an important job in the solar dragon council. He was the "keeper of gems" (the person incharge of both documenting and managing the council meetings) At the request of the council (and the offer of a seat on the council) he was sent to meet the Oracle dragon. After an argument at home it was decided he would take Ashera his daughter with him. He managed to talk to the Oracle dragon he gained vital foreknoledge of Hydras release and was able to help prepare dragon kind.

Ashera & Lamerik
Ashera was a gold solar dragon. She helped her father pass the "Test of Faith" and was rewarded by being told she would fall in love and have a child. Her love was Lamerik a red fire dragon, who was the youngest son of the current Volcanic Wyreleaders. They met in secret for Ashera was not as proud as the others of her kind, she loved the earth and wondered at its life, Lamerik helped her to learn and they grew very close. Until the time of her mating flight. When her would be suiter found out about Lamerik and decided to get rid of him. Although weakened Lamerik fought with all his streagth and managed to catch Ashera before any of the others did. They mated. However a union between a high ranking female solar and a lowly red fire dragon was against dragon law. As such the next day Lamerik was sentenced to death. If Gowalime had not begged the council and retired his position Ashera too would of died, but he did and as such he and his entire family was banished. Lameriks parents let the family live in Volcanic wyre. (although poor Gowalime suffered terribly at the calws of his mate...) Ashera was though to not be able to have any children but one day she laid a single. Others beileved it would not hatch and even though the normal time for egg hatching came and went Ashera proudly and defiently gaurded the egg. She grew very weak, not eating, drinking or sleeping. she just watched the egg. Till one day she was visited by the Oracle who came to say goodbye to her, for the egg hatched and Ahera said goodbye to her chick before dieing herself. The chicks name was Cynder the Orange Dragon and Ashera was his mother...

Oracle
She is an anceint White Fire Dragon unable too breath fire any more she cant defend herself. As such all wishing to see her must pass a "Test of Faith" which means they face a test of extreme danger yet one that reveals the truth of the competitors heart. As such few dragons ask for the hounor of meeting her and she is freicely defended by those of Volcanic wyre. She lives in the bowls of the volcano in a carvern filled with crystals, with a pool fed by in underground river and she rarely ever leaves it.

Cynder
Cynder was the only Orange dragon. Able to use both the powers of the dragons beams and fire. He was very powerful, able to do so many things but he felt so lonely in his early years. That ended when he fell in love with Fenillia a golden solar dragon that had the same kind of spirit as his mother Ashera. Fenillia was very wild and enjoyed nature and help show cynder that hes never alone. To protect Ferillia he rose up to battle the hydra and with all his power sealed away the hydra by transforming him into a small statue which he later cast deep into the core of a volcano. Injured in the terrible battle it took him many attempts at mating to eventually have children. now rather an old dragon he isnt very active perfering to spent the day lersuirely sunbathing on the "Rare Wyre". (The rare wyre is a small family sky wyre the only of its kind built as a reward for cynders help. It was also a political move made by the wyreleaders of Terlian and Crudam)
