Sazoi sighed, pacing back and forth in front of a tree trunk anxiously. It was a day or two after the youths and adults had been returned by the devious tribe, and something was poking at him, telling him to go and do something. Go and find that quiet mystical that was willing to put her life down for his before he made a rash decision and got swept away. He hadn't seen her that night, the night when he was rescued by the search party. Who knows if she'll even be here? He thought, tail drooping slightly. He gave a nervous glance in the direction he was whisked away at. There's probably a ban on even coming to the park, after that.
Sazoi sighed again and sat at the base of the tree, the same he had climbed that one day, hoping she would return.

Quiet's movements were still slow and a bit stiff after that day. With all the running she'd done after that female, only to fight her later...well, she was no kitten, and it had shaken up her body quite a bit. Still, she was never one to sit still for any length of time. Even if she was still a bit sore, she had business to attend to. She allowed her human to fuss over her, putting all kinds of strange-smelling things on her cuts, for a day. That was enough.
She knew that the others had been returned; she'd seen the bone children with their weary mother, and the adults that looked shaken but otherwise unharmed. But she had not seen him, and that worried her the most. She looked everywhere she thought to look for some hours with no success. Maybe...his parents or his humans were keeping him home. That certainly made some measure of sense. She wouldn't have let her own kitten return to the park, either...
The park. She had not checked the park. It seemed unlikely that the little one would return to the scene of his own kidnapping, but...well, she could hope. Despite aching muscles, the mystical found herself wandering through the park once more. She could see the bench she had been reclining on, and the fateful tree they had, for whatever reason, decided to climb. But she did not see Sazoimun. Not quite yet.

Sazoi sighed, tail curling around his paws. No, she probably wouldn't come. Who would want to come back to the scene of their friend's kidnapping? And so close to the base? He gave a weary sigh. Perhaps he'd try again later, in the Junkyard, maybe.... He got up, stretching lazily. Yes, she was probably at the Junkyard. Hadn't Vaertun told them to stay around there for a bit? He shrugged it off. Either way, he was going to search there.
Sazoi's ears perked, standing alert. Had he heard pawsteps? Minutes ago, the park had been quiet, a few cat slinking about. But this one seemed to be closer... Perhaps he could ask this cat if they had seen her? He climbed on the bench awkwardly, half falling once or twice, and peeked over. Wait... Could it be? Was it her? Blue-gray, black and white calico. It had to be.
"Quietstion?"

It should have come as no surprise to the female that the kitten was not here. He had no reason to be here. She could only hope that he was safe at home. It had been bothering her for a bit, now, that the kitten's parents would let him wander the way they obviously had, and in such perilous conditions. She certainly never would do that to her own kittens.
A bit disheartened, the mystical was preparing to find her way home when she heard, crisp and clear, someone calling her name. She hurriedly pawed forward a few steps, into the view of the spotted male. The voice seemed familiar - she should have known! Her smile wide, the somewhat weary-looking female bounded with ease onto the bench, gently bumping her head against Sazoi's before shifting to the side and nuzzling him, her loud purr rumbling through her body.
