Today couldn't really have gone worse. I believe I was threatened a lot, and called many names... And you know why? Just for telling people that I was a lesbian.
I won't go into too much detail here, but I'll just tell you that it was the first time this has ever happened, and I am extremely shocked to see and hear their reaction.
Has something bad happened when you came out, or maybe something good? I haven't had any good consequences of me coming out to people, but I just keep trying to be positive, and hoping for better reactions from someone sooner or later. Yet all that seems to happen when I tell people, is that they get scared, don't mind/care, get hostile and call me names/threaten me, things along those lines.
Though I didn't hear half the things they said to me, I'm actually scared to go back to school on Monday.

Thanks so much though, everyone's helped me enough to where I'm not worried about what'll happen on Monday anymore. If anything gets risky, I've got ways to deal with it. 3nodding -hugs back-

Well, wow, today went anything but what I thought would happen. Today was wonderful, really. Though I don't get any positive 'responses' from coming out to people, it sure does make me feel strong and proud, and sometimes what they say/do is funny! Sometimes I if I walk up to a girl unintentionally, they slowly walk away from me and all I want to do is laugh and blow a kiss at them. XD They think I'll just randomly rape them or something! I don't get homophobes one bit.
People at this school are so extreme, it's funny most of the time, and shocking the rest.

When I tell people that I'm a lesbian, all they do is look at me in shock! O.o They always think lesbians are 'dykish'....um okay. ANYWAYS, the only bad thing is that most people accuse my other friends for being lesbians too! Agh! Will it ever end??

Most people who are very religious or raised in a very religious atmosphere are like that. Cruel and unaccpeting. But, no matter where you live there will always be that one group or person who is against homosexuals. *shrugs* But, what can you do? Everyone is trying their hardest to make it known and comfortable and normal. I personally don't like the types that flaunt the fact that they are homosexual. That does nothing to improve, it only fills the stereotypes. And we don't need that all the time, now do we? stressed sweatdrop 4laugh
