I have wrestled with death. It is the most unexciting contest you can imagine. It takes place in an impalpable grayness, with nothing underfoot, with nothing around, without spectators, without clamor, without glory.
I agree. Sparkling Vampires is the most unethical and moronic excuse for a vampire in sunlight that any second grader would be ashamed to write.
Without the great desire of victory, without the great fear of defeat. -Joseph Conrad

Yes, that just made me laugh. It's like "WTF?" I thought the book was going to be so dramatic, but they Sparkle? What a laugh.

hey I made this as a place for people to complain about the issues with twilight, pertaining mostly to their abilities and stuff, not just how they sparkle in the sunlight.

inuyasha freak333 hey I made this as a place for people to complain about the issues with twilight, pertaining mostly to their abilities and stuff, not just how they sparkle in the sunlight. I'll take it a step further. Instead of arguing what "real" vampires are, because the legends-- not Stephenie Meyer's crap, but the old stories and the respectable literature-- vary greatly, instead of turning this into a stupid and pointless argument over what "real" vampires are and aren't, how about we get back to the original topic of venting about Stephenie Meyer. 'Kay, Mr. Vampires-Spontaneously-Combust-In-Light?

Well Hey, that's just what everyone's stuck on. But we're still trashing it, correct? I think just talking about anything wrong with it is acceptable. Heheh__
