Whispenlinue steadied himself on a branch, tail flicking. It was a nice day, the peace after the storm, you could say. The storm being the recent battle between the two tribes, that is. Not many cats were out, the air had a slight breeze to it... He gave a contented sigh, sitting on the branch with his nose in the air. Perhaps something eventful would happen today. Hopefully not as 'eventful' as the catnappings, but...

Vulfelorik was feeling rather pleased with himself as he trotted with his nose and tail in the air, towards the park. The battle was finally over and he knew he had helped the tribe in successfully nabbing those pesky cat-nappers. Perhaps now everyone would think differently about what kittens could really do?
As he reached the park, he found himself a nice shady tree to take a nap under. Curling up close to the trunk he closed his eyes and began to drift off to sleep.

Despite the misfortune that had occurred in the park, it really was one of Quietstion's favorite places. It was so peaceful and unassuming...the troublemakers from that rogue pride had only briefly marred that, not taken it away. It was too nice of a day to be outside, and the warmth of the sun pulled the older mystical out from her home and back to the familiar brick paths of the park.
It was as she was strolling that she caught sight of a feline out of the corner of her eye. Still wary from the encounter, she was quick to turn...and was surprised at what she saw. A kitten! Well, a bit more than a kitten...she was certain she'd seen this little one at the fight down at the junkyard. He was surely the youngest there...it was a miracle that no harm came to him. What a brave little thing. Amused, she couldn't help but pay him a visit, pawing over and lightly touching her nose to his own in a quiet hello.

Whispen's ears perked at the arrival of the two. Hm! How convenient they both had happened to appear under his tree. A kitten and another mystical, at that. He flicked his ear in thought. How to make an appearance... He smirked to himself at this. Oh, he did love giving others a spook... Especially the young ones. But the mystical seemed quite polite, and it wasn't gentlemanly to frighten such a lady. There was simply no winning. He gave a huff of frustration at this. He couldn't scare the kid without spooking the mystical.
So perhaps he wouldn't scare them. Put them on their nerves, perhaps, but not scare. He grinned and leapt up a few branches, attempting to hide himself a bit better. He'd sing to them was all. And if he hid himself well enough...
"London callin', I was there, too An' you know what dey said? Well, some of it was true! London callin' at the top o' the dial After all this, won't you give me ah smile?"

Vulf’s ear flicked and his eyes fluttered open at the nose touch. He blinked slowly at the cat in front of him, his tired eyes not really registering what was there. “Oh! Allo there” he said cheerfully, suddenly awake, “Usually I wouldn’t like bein’ woken up so suddenly, but today I’m just so ‘appy for some reason” he smiled up at the stranger who had woken him.
Vulf was about to introduce himself when he heard someone singing, “Wots that?” he asked no one in particular, spinning around in a circle and looking up the tree. He couldn’t see anyone, maybe he was just going crazy?

Quiet had a hard time suppressing her smile at the kitten's words. He spoke like a proper London gentleman, and it both pleased and amused her. She understood, now, how the little one managed to carry on as well as the adults a few days back. He seemed...older for his age, like he had wisdom that his few months on Earth didn't entirely add up to. Of course, that could've been her reading into things a bit too much; she had a tendency to do that a lot. She moved with the intention of licking his head, her inability to not mother every kitten she saw becoming painfully clear, until she head the singing.
The incidents of the days prior had not made the mystical paranoid, but they had most certainly unnerved her enough that she took a bit more precaution in everything. Take a wide step to stand over the kitten, she pricked her ears and tilted her head back, glancing up into the tree and sniffing the air. There was someone up there, she was sure. It could've been a harmless prank from some other Jellicle, but...well, not she felt like she couldn't be too sure. Warily, she put a forepaw on either side of the kitten while flicking her tail anxiously at the stranger's serenade.

Whispen gave a wide smirk at the two, suppressing a chuckle. They were as on edge as two rats in a ratcatching house! And the mystical... Hah! Over someone singing! He chuckled to himself, and leapt down a branch. He figured he'd go calm the two down, before they raced up there to claw his ears off. Though, it wouldn't hurt to spook them at least one more time, right? He grinned and crawled more to a point on the branch where he was behind the mystical, though likely in a dangerous spot if the kit saw him.
Whispen quietly slunk down, branch by branch before quietly slipping down to the ground behind the mystical. Hopefully she hadn't seen him...
"I never felt so much a' like..."

Vulf was still staring up in the tree and did catch sight of the other cat coming closer to them, even as Quiet stood over him protectively, “It’s just that guy” he pointed at the stranger with his paw, no longer confused but rather intrigued, “How’d you do that? How’d you make yourself invisible to sneak up on us?” It seemed to Vulf like a handy ability to have, and this stranger was clearly a very mystical cat, to possess such an amazing talent.
