Why do you think that Miroku always gropes Sango when they could have a breakthrough in their relationship? (This is of course not counting my favorite episode where they agree to live to gether and have kids after Naraku is defeated)
I think it's because he doesn't want her to be heartbroken if they don't manage to kill Naraku in time and he's consumed by the wind tunnel in his hand.

I don't know. Everyone (especially fanfic writers) say it's to keep her distant so she doesn't get hurt. Miroku's a pretty smart guy, it could be possible.
However, until he actually says or thinks this himself, I'm going with my usual answer...

well...this isinteresting i think that isnt true too much... i dont think it means he will hurt her..it he still groups her even when they are engaged.. i just think he likes the attention...u know how guys somtimes like it when girls hit them and stuff like that? i think they get kinky off it or somthing..i dont know i am not a guy...thats just my opinion...LOL xd

Miroku's been groping women since way before he met Sango. It means one thing - his actions are nothing more than that of a sukebe houshi (if you pay attention to JP Sango you'll know what that is).
It always gets a good laugh out of me and my ane-ue went we think of how Miroku only gropes Sango now a days. A bit weird to say, but it's like Goldey-Lockes. That ones to round, that ones too meat, twisted But Sango's is juuuust right. Eheheh sweatdrop Besides, he has the right to grope, I mean they're engaged!
