User ImageAngotops was hopping mad. His paw was scabbed over but ached horribly. He'd cleaned it well, but the damage to it was deep and right in the joint. He still couldn't walk on it.

"Bloody fooking daughter of Eskeleta..." he growled to himself, his tail lashing. "I should have broke the necks of those kittens." Just the thought of the matter made him salivate. He wanted revenge so badly he could taste it, like hot blood.

He attempted to put his paw down, but was instantly agonized by it. "Limping like some halfwit mashed by a car!" He would wait on Underspots before acting. She scared the piss out of Angotops. She always seemed to be in the least likely place, and always seemed to know what he was planning. He'd mate with her in a second if she'd let him. He respected little else, but Underspots he was devoted to.

He forgot his paw, stepped down on it and howled in grief and fury. He sat down and began to lick and chew at the wound again. Stupid queen! Stupid kittens! Even his right ear ached just a tiny bit from the claws of that little tot Ratterclack.

If he ever saw them again, he'd just kill them straight out. No fair warning, no games or playing. He'd chew them to bits like the rats they were!

"Oi, wut's this, then?" The lighter of Underspot's two sons, Kratterwall, leapt down with relative ease from a low branch, his words a delighted chuckle. The impact of landing smarted a bit - he was still sore from the debacle in the junkyard, and being sat on by some overstuffed Gumbie didn't help much - but he shrugged it off for the sake of looking like he felt better than he actually did. At the very least, here was a male who looked like he had fared worse than he had, and that made him feel better almost immediately.

"Look like y'seen betta' days, Topseh," he announced as though the other tom hadn't noticed, circling closer with his head low. He wanted revenge too, make no doubt about it - bloody, nasty revenge that stained his teeth pink and nose red. But it'd have to wait for now, he guessed...which was unfortunate, because it left him with quite nothing to do. He tilted his head to glance at Angotops' injured paw. It hurt, no doubt, but it was the male's own fault.

User ImageAnother of the slightly worse for wear feral cats was lounging on a low branch near the other two. Ziggitysassers had struggled quite hard to get up there and she didn't intend to leave in a hurry. Angotops' hissy fit was amusing, and made her care a little less about her injuries. Any distractions were welcome right now.

"Kittens," she drawled, "Ya got yer arse kicked by kittens. The tubby bugger who hurt me was twice as big as me. And he had a friend with him."

It might be an exaggeration, it might not. None of the tomcats had seen the cats she had run in to so they couldn't know if Sassy was telling the truth.

Angotops ignored Kratterwall, the young male was a half-wit anyway. Somehow without the slightest bit of effort on the part of hte Jellicle tribe, he'd been thwarted in taking out Vaertun. Ango, at the very least, had gotten into a real scrap. Tasting blood from his paw, he stopped in his ministrations, and sighed. As he was about to call Kratter a moron, Ziggy opened her big fat mouth.

Angotops glared up and her and snarled. "Someone bigger than YOU!? What ten-ton fatty in the Jellicle Tribe could possibly outweigh YOU?" He barked a laugh at her. "Kittens did nothing to me. I stomped 'em flat in a half-second - and I daresay, I'm the only one of this sorry lot who managed to bring in two at the same time! It was only their berserk skele-bones mother, ******** her sorry hide, who got her teeth on me."

He began to wash his sore paw again. The pain made him feel a bit better, something to clear his angry mind. He'd need all of the ferals in Underspots' group to side with him if they were going to murder that pollicle-licking queen. And really, murder just felt about right.

The slightly smaller tom sports an obvious frown. It seemed like everyone was displeased with him for failing at taking at Vaertun. He was sure it wasn't his fault alone; he had, after all, tried very very hard, and there have been very very many other Jellicles that seemed to want nothing more than to rip out his throat. And he had be sat on! The shame! Still, at the very least, he hadn't been captured by the Jellicles, the way the other cat of their clan had. He used that to comfort him. He, too, was about to defend himself when Ziggitysassers spoke up.

Kratterwall remained quiet during the start of the verbal spat between these two - quiet, of course, baring poorly veiled snickers and laughter. What an angry, snappy old tom cat! The male kept his head bowed in an attempt to hide his amusement. Still, Angotops' words intrigued him...

"You wanna go back, ol' Topseh?" he asked incredulously, tilting his head to the side and looked concerned. "When y' can barely walk?"

The concern faded and gave way to a wave of laughter.

Ziggitysassers didn't have a very good grasp of what had happened at the junkyard, but she didn't like to admit that. When it was time for the big confrontation she had been on babysitting duty due to her injuries. It was mildly annoying to have got the facts wrong, but she shook it off and pretended it had been on purpose.

"I was just pulling yer leg," she said, "I know the bite-happy b***h got to ya. It's too easy to rile ya up Topsy."

The tip of her tail twitched as she thought about the prissy housecats they had been forced to release in exchange of their own. Worthless fur-balls the lot of them. They hadn't even tried to escape and didn't seem to have any survival-skills whatsoever. How they even survived outside without their precious humans at mewing-distance was a mystery.

"We should wait for a while," she said slowly, "Make them feel secure after their so called victory. And later if a Jellicle should happen to meet some of us, somewhere out of the way... Well there might be an accident. Just bad luck. And then there's one Jellicle less to worry about."

Angotops rolled his eyes at Kratterwall - if a cat less than one of Underspots' own sons had said such a thing he'd have their throat. Even so, he growled just slightly in his throat to show his irritation, and flicked his tail slightly. He was in no mood to be trifled with today.

His eyes flicked up to his wounded compatriot, who didn't rise to the occasion of his insult. She almost sounded concerned for a moment. Maybe she was going a little soft?

"Waitin' fer them, yeah, that's the ticket - all they have to do is sweep the park for us to find us. And they out number us 10 to 1." He learned forward and cocked his head, "They're not going to be taking chances in our territory. That's why we should be hunting them down one by one - by their safe little houses." He flicked his tail. "T' Park aint safe no more. We need to move on or they're going to surround us and crush us, like as not!"
