from those stupid GC Downloads scream

MyWebSearch [Or MyWebSearchToolBar]
{NOTE: The Following Malware is used for other programs aswell}
MyWebSearch-[also known as Zwinky,Webfetti,CursorMania]

~Removal~

-Moonlight's Notes-

Okey To Be Honest this will be the easiest program to remove from the whole list surprised {as of now}
This Malware can also be found in other programs aswell
For ex:Zwinky uses this program to install the Zwinky Toolbar for easier access to zwinktopia

-MyWebSearch Removal-
Step 1:Uninstall the Program

[Windows XP Users]

-Click Start

-look for a button called set program access and defaults and click it

-when the window opens look to the left and find a button called "Change or Remove Programs"

-once the lists populates [loads] scroll down and look for

* My Web Search (Smiley Central or FWP product as applicable)
* My Way Speedbar (Smiley Central or other FWP as applicable)
* My Way Speedbar (AOL and Yahoo Messengers) (beta users only)
* My Way Speedbar (Outlook, Outlook Express, and IncrediMail)
* Search Assistant - My Way


-click the Name, it should now be highlighted with a DarkBlue

-to the right you will see a button has popped up that says Change/Remove; Click the button

-[cant really remember if a window pops up or not lol]
If a window pops up saying that says "Uninstall,Fix,Cancel"
click uninstall
If a window doesnt pop up well...it should uninstall anyway x3

Step 2 biggrin ownload MalwareBytes and install [Link Can be Found on Table 3 "Virus/Malware Removal Programs"]

Step 3: if you blocked mywebsearch with a virus/or malware program unblock it, so in other words your releasing the malware back onto your comp but malwarebytes should take care of that
[trust me on this it works]

Step 4 biggrin ouble-Click MalwareBytes [let it load] then click "Perform Full System Scan" then click scan smile

Step 5-Let malwarebytes scan your whole computer it should find MywebSearch programs; after the scan is done click Quarantine and delete
this should remove the malware!
